All the Zhangs are very talented. Zhang Qiling only makes a few appearances in this drama, but every time he shows up, I get so excited. His presence is absolutely unmatched. Also just found out that he is the Chief of the entire Zhang family. I miss Zhang Qiling and Wu Xie's partnership. They were such an iconic duo.
Waww,, zhang hailou ,zhang haixia perform very excellent . 10/10. I had very high expectations for Steven Zhang as Zhang Hailou and Ding Yuxi as Zhang Haixia, and it turns out they exceeded them. Both actors truly brought their characters to life and delivered outstanding performances. Great job, Steven Zhang and Ding Yuxi. Like the ending song too, very soothing to listen too and calm.
As expected the ending is good really good đ Thank you so much!!!!10/10 from me
I honestly expected a higher rating than 8.3, maybe at least 8.6. I haven't watched it yet. just planning to watch it later. Tell me, Is it because the story is a bit slow, the writing isn't that strong, or the acting and plot just aren't on the same level? I was expecting something as good as Ultimate Note.
Lately, there have been so many Chinese bL dramas airing, both long and short. Sometimes it feels like they are stripping away the uniqueness and magic that The Untamed once had for me.
What made The Untamed truly special was its deep emotional bond and beautiful bromance atmosphere without needing explicit NC scenes to make people feel attached to the characters.
I donât think so. They will probably turn it into friendship or family bonding since China government very strict lately after The Untamed & Word of honor popularity.
Many people recommend it, but is itâs worth to watch for someone who isnât into politics? In historical dramas…
Highly recommended, one of the best after The Untamed. The friendship between Mei Chang Su, Prince Jing, and General Meng, along with Fei Liuâs martial arts skills, is the main reason for the success of this drama.
Iâm currently on episode 6. This Thai bromance drama is actually quite good and exceeded my expectations. I didnât expect Thailand to be able to produce a bromance drama like this, as their dramas usually focus more on the BL genre. However, it still doesnât match the quality of Chinese bromance dramas. There are many aspects that need improvement, especially the camera work , music and the acting, which feels less emotionally engaging. In addition, the relationship development between the two main characters is quite slow.I keep wondering how long it will take before a scene truly touches my emotions. From the beginning until now, the story seems to revolve mostly around conflicts, arguments, fighting which makes it rather boring at times.one thing I do appreciate is that the storyline itself is quite interesting.hopefully Thailand will continue to produce bromance dramas like this in the future.
The bromance is there throughout the series, but it truly shines from episode 20 onwards. Sadly, it feels too…
Until now, I still havenât finished Word of Honor. Thatâs why it doesnât make it into my bromance drama list. The second male lead is the main reason I put this drama on hold. He can act, but his acting feels unnatural and overly exaggerated. There is too much excessive skinship used to show that they have a strong bond, but instead, it becomes more annoying. In comparison, The Untamed doesnât rely much on skinship. Through subtle gestures and expressions, the audience can clearly feel how strong their bond is. Maybe some people enjoy BL dramas with a lot of skinship. Thatâs fine, this is just my personal opinion, and I respect that. However, speaking of RNRD, I find RNRD to be much better than Word of Honor. The acting and facial expressions are stronger and more natural. The only downside is that itâs very short.
Like the ending song too, very soothing to listen too and calm.

The Cantonese songs in this drama really good. Soothing to listen to.
Happy chinese new year 2026.
