Lately, there have been so many Chinese bL dramas airing, both long and short. Sometimes it feels like they are stripping away the uniqueness and magic that The Untamed once had for me.
What made The Untamed truly special was its deep emotional bond and beautiful bromance atmosphere without needing explicit NC scenes to make people feel attached to the characters.
I don’t think so. They will probably turn it into friendship or family bonding since China government very strict lately after The Untamed & Word of honor popularity.
Many people recommend it, but is it’s worth to watch for someone who isn’t into politics? In historical dramas…
Highly recommended, one of the best after The Untamed. The friendship between Mei Chang Su, Prince Jing, and General Meng, along with Fei Liu’s martial arts skills, is the main reason for the success of this drama.
I’m currently on episode 6. This Thai bromance drama is actually quite good and exceeded my expectations. I didn’t expect Thailand to be able to produce a bromance drama like this, as their dramas usually focus more on the BL genre. However, it still doesn’t match the quality of Chinese bromance dramas. There are many aspects that need improvement, especially the camera work , music and the acting, which feels less emotionally engaging. In addition, the relationship development between the two main characters is quite slow.I keep wondering how long it will take before a scene truly touches my emotions. From the beginning until now, the story seems to revolve mostly around conflicts, arguments, fighting which makes it rather boring at times.one thing I do appreciate is that the storyline itself is quite interesting.hopefully Thailand will continue to produce bromance dramas like this in the future.
The bromance is there throughout the series, but it truly shines from episode 20 onwards. Sadly, it feels too…
Until now, I still haven’t finished Word of Honor. That’s why it doesn’t make it into my bromance drama list. The second male lead is the main reason I put this drama on hold. He can act, but his acting feels unnatural and overly exaggerated. There is too much excessive skinship used to show that they have a strong bond, but instead, it becomes more annoying. In comparison, The Untamed doesn’t rely much on skinship. Through subtle gestures and expressions, the audience can clearly feel how strong their bond is. Maybe some people enjoy BL dramas with a lot of skinship. That’s fine, this is just my personal opinion, and I respect that. However, speaking of RNRD, I find RNRD to be much better than Word of Honor. The acting and facial expressions are stronger and more natural. The only downside is that it’s very short.
Wow, this devolved. We've now got some random boring game plot starring Su Bei Lu's uninteresting friend and the…
Still at Episode 7. So far, am not sure how this drama is going. Most of the comments section lean towards negative reviews, so I’m unsure whether I should continue watching or not. Your opinion?
its not bl but brommance however its very similar to word of honor and doesn’t offer much uniqueness so im holding…
The bromance is there throughout the series, but it truly shines from episode 20 onwards. Sadly, it feels too short. Hopefully, we’ll get a Season 2 with a twist-filled plot.
Available in youtube with HD resolution but i notice the background noise sound were off. Maybe to prevent copyright strike. Also, not complete. Try searching this short drama through Daily motion.

The Cantonese songs in this drama really good. Soothing to listen to.
