Um so anyone know like good bl novels? Like payback was a novel as well. Like, i want one that's good, angsty,…
The only enemies-to-lovers BL novel I've read is Things That Don't Deserve to Die, and nothing has topped it. It's actual enemies to lovers, not some one-sided beef. They're both equally insane, ruthless, and unapologetic, and I love that there's no power imbalance or the typical ruthless top × timid bottom dynamic. They're both domineering, constantly trying to outsmart and overpower each other, which made their chemistry so much better. The assassin × mafia CEO plot is amazing, the side characters were great, and don't even get me started on the NC scenes... I literally had to pause. The manhwa, though, was a huge letdown in my opinion because it doesn't do the novel justice. It completely watered down the bottom's personality and made him seem way more passive than he actually is, when in the novel he's just as manipulative, calculating, and unhinged as the top.
Big Jane is scarier cus he creepy and manupilative
Either way, we all have different opinions and perspectives, and that's completely okay. At the end of the day, I genuinely love both series because they feel like such a breath of fresh air. The plots don't feel recycled or predictable—they're unique, organic, and the chemistry between the leads is absolutely fire. The mls are hot ongsa is cute Lj is cute and thier acting is top notch
The reason why Little Jane had doubts about Big Jane was because of the rumors. But with Dan, there is nothing…
ur forgetting Dan told littleJan abt Big jane being expelled from Havard and who his family is , i like Big jane and hate Dan but i don't get the unnecessary hate towards little jane
my favourite part is the sexual tension between them i love how Big Jane teases Little Jane for a kiss and does it in such a seductive way while Little Jane is clearly tempted but also feels so vulnerable at the same time.
im so sick of this second ml cock blocking my main couple and thier screentime like waiting every week is enough why u giving these 2nd ml so much screentime
why tf is Dan confessing when little jane is literally hurt and crying over his man like he pisses me off tryna win over little jane when he is a vulnerable state
Little Jane is the most idiot that has ever idioted in this world because tell me why he keeps saying that he…
I don’t really get this point because the same people criticizing Little Jane are the ones saying he has “the survival instinct of a bee” for not listening to his friends’ warnings about Big Jane. its common knowldge He’s going to take Dan’s words seriously when Dan is bringing up things that match the doubts he already had. Little Jane was already hearing negative things about Big Jane from people on campus and being told there were things he didn’t know. If this was a real-life situation, wouldn’t you expect someone to look for red flags and question things? That’s exactly what Little Jane is doing. You can’t criticize him for being “too trusting” while also criticizing him for not trusting people enough
Does Big Jane even really love Jane ? The scene in the stairs broke my heart for Little Jane ...I think Big Jane…
I actually think Big Jane does love Little Jane, but the tragedy of his character is that he doesn’t understand love in a normal way. He has spent his life dealing with people through bargains, psychology, and understanding their emotions, so when he falls for Little Jane, he uses the only methods he knows like love bombing making them feel special gas lighting etc. The breakup especially triggered him because Little Jane, the one person he genuinely cared about, chose to believe everyone else over him. That fear of losing him is what pushes him toward wanting control and using the same psychological tools he uses in other situations to keep Little Jane close. Big Jane’s fear of losing him causes him to react in unhealthy ways thats why we don't see him fix his mistakes cus he see nothing wrong in himself . The feelings are real, but the way they handle those feelings is what creates the conflict.
The manhwa, though, was a huge letdown in my opinion because it doesn't do the novel justice. It completely watered down the bottom's personality and made him seem way more passive than he actually is, when in the novel he's just as manipulative, calculating, and unhinged as the top.
