Esther Yu has a vibrant and expressive signature style that is uniquely hers. Her individuality is charming, and her vocal talent is exceptional caliber.
For a moment, as I watched Siyi's face from a certain angle, the way her emotions played across her expressions and the depth of her gaze reminded me of the actress Crystal Liu, aka Liu Yifei.
perhaps SiYi returns because she finds out Fenghua is sick, has become wealthy, pays for her surgery, attends wedding? maybe the reason Fenghua didn't want to get treatment is the cost and so she doesn't want anyone to know to spare them
I would have to disagree with you there. He has taken care of his friends to the best of his ability . He is ambitious…
So the root cause of his death is the greedy wife The group was happy together when they were growing up in the canal despite their problems, but now, is any of them happy? They are stressed and sick. They will be happy again when they return to their haven, the canal.

I feel like something bad is imminent in his life to make him reevaluate his life. Sometimes, it's only through hardship or failure that people are forced to confront their flaws and re-evaluate their values, leading to profound change. I wonder if his startup may fail IPO, or maybe once he learns about Fenghua serious illness, what does it take for him to realize there's more to life. The employee who ran a red light due to the weather and stress is really stupid if he doesn't have stock options. Why do you risk your life for someone else to profit from?
No one on their deathbed ever said, 'I wish I had worked harder.'" Some people look back at their childhood and remember how happy they were even though they had little, but they didn't feel poor because they had food to eat, roof over their head, and loving parents, and happy memories. So, achieving material wealth later in life does not guarantee you will be happier than when you were poor. Happiness does not come from wealth.
+ I don't know why but WangHe can come across like an elitist. I'm not saying he's bad person, just the way he comes across.

WangHe has had nothing bad happened in his life to him or his parents, like if he were the one with heart attack or cancer, or his parents, he would not push this hard. It's not worth it. In the blink of an eye, your life can suddenly change and then all that you push so hard for become meaningless.
The two winners of this award were Li Qin and Xu Kai. Li Qin won for her 2024 roles in JOLS2, War of Faith, two super hot dramas in 2024. I feel that it is quite an honor for Xu Kai to win the same award alongside her.
I really believe that MDL rating are decided by them. The age group stats don't match the rating but they will…
There is no transparency on MDL. Douban publish a rating mid-way while MDL will put up a score the next day and the user data doesn't match what they put up until they align it at the end. There was a drama I tracked the MDL data daily and it was so obvious they manipulated group data daily to align to the rating at the end. Another drama, I saw the Douban score fall by 0.3 overnight with no changes to the number of user ratings and no BE or OE, in fact this drama eventually fell from 6.9 to 6.3 with each increment the contribution was lower from 6.1 to 6.5 which I supposed is possible except the drop of 0.3 with no changes to user count; but many months later I saw additional 4K user ratings with avg of 4.1 (since Douban is more transparent, you can back into the incremental average) for a drama that started off with 12K rating it 6.9, you know that is fishy... why would 4K people rate it 4.1 months later, so the score continues to deteriorate.
This under-2-hour film is a melancholic story that lingers with its emotional depth, exploring loss and longing. Sad endings, like "Love Story," leave lasting impressions and touch the heart.
I really believe that MDL rating are decided by them. The age group stats don't match the rating but they will align it later. If they know for sure they're dunking it, they will align it a little bit each day. So maybe there is still some hope for this drama to go back up some.
