Grandma married a Chinese man who has roots from Italy, linked to the Italian explorer named Paul from the original novel. I guess Grandma never told her background to any of them because then it's easy to guess that SiYi is 1/4 Italian?

Their delivery business reminded me of Door Dash, founded in 2012 by students who just graduated from Stanford. In this drama, the year is 2014. Somehow, I got the idea they should all work together. One is a programmer bored and wants to quit and needs a challenge, the other is struggling in her delivery company, and another one is also going to work with WangHe in delivery.

end of Ep 21, I feel WangHe is still stuck on SiYi. I wonder if that was Vanda's voice singing the song. I think most likely yes.

but at the end of Ep 20, it says 2014 flash back to 2008 when WangHe said he has to finish his thesis tomorrow, so I assume that was senior year in college? They were all in a car together went to see The Great Wall in Beijing, so I assume they were hanging out during college years.

Ma SiYi is the most complex character in this drama. Her internal struggles are so deep. I feel the character SiYi really added contrast and dynamics to the group dynamics.

When SiYi came to Flower STreet, she and Fenghua were both ten years old. Then at time of college entrance exam, SiYi was 17 yrs old. This is based on what was mentioned in the drama. So I assume SiYI and Fenghua and the others would be around 18 yrs old when they graduated from high school. I guess we can do the math from there.

Over time this drama should easily get over 100K ratings on Douban. This is a drama that grows on you with each new episode.
