Robot Xiaobai was result of the prototype that JX and HT worked on in college that won them first place, HT went abroad to Germany at 19 which makes him 29, same age as XK in real life. While in Germany, HT continued their robot concept under Zeng Di's Guanghua Technology. JX after college went to work for Guanghua and became the original designer of Robot Xiaobai. JX has been working for Guanghua Technology past 6 yrs straight out of college. Did I get it right?

In Ep 1, Zeng Di says to HT "Is the robot Xioabai getting closer to the concept you told me about in Germany?" He is flipping through the ppt slide and sees the Ji Xing is the original designer. and says this project is getting more interesting than I expected. I like XK's micro expressions as HT ponders it.

MDL ratings are meaningless. Viki has 50% more user ratings averaging 9.5 rating. It was a 9.6 until a whole lot of people decided to give it a 1 because lack of translation. And of course, there will always be the usual haters who will go rate it lower for nonsense reasons like I've seen this kind of storyline or I want a different FL.

Seven Tan is so charming when she's drunk. You don't even think she's acting funny because she's just plain cute and funny. She's.a natural and masterful comedian.

Ep 1: Han Ting swallowed and you can see the lump in his throat as he realized "Its her"
foreshadowing she was someone very significant to him. Every thought and feeling was captured by each expression he made. I'm not sure if he can see her but she can't see him through the car window but he positively recognized her voice. Xing's expressions staring into the car window unable to see Han Ting's face was full of intrigue. I found that scene with the delightful melody matching the mood artistic as it had a sense of something unfolding, like the feeling of a flower blooming in slow motion.

Users on Viki rating 1 because of translation, don't like FL, 40 ep is too much, typical storyline seen 100x, but have only watched two episodes or none, you got to wonder about these people. Are they bitter or low IQ? A typical storyline does not mean the dramas are the same. Why would someone watch a "typical" storyline 100x when they rate it 1?

The Paradox of Han Ting. How can a man like Han Ting can have so much sweetness too? but only when it comes to Ji Xing. Such contradiction has to give way to conflicts and misunderstandings. Does the novel or the drama explain how Han Ting develop like this? Is it because of his family background everyone is competitive with each other except for the cute carefree one who plays his uncle LLJ?

could it be because he is not only a foodie in real life but also loves to cook?

It's a fun and serious drama. The seriousness I think will come later as conflicts arise. There are many fun scenes. It's a story that has to run its course so you have to be patient to let it unfold. I could be wrong but I think the story is long so it's really a good pace. They didn't even really dwell much on her ex bf breakup other than how it pushes her closer to the ml. There are two other quite handsome, cute, and charming male characters aside from ml. They have good chemistry when together. The main female characters esp, the one who plays the best friend are really fun to watch,

XK is a master at creating his characters by giving them distinguishing trait marks like a certain mannerism or expression and I can see it between YZM and HT. It's usually a common one that each character will have throughout the drama. He is a master of expressions. And now he is using his own voice to add to those distinguishing traits. He even lost more weight for Han Ting whether intentional or not, but it does make HT very sleek looking.
