"26.06.06 折折折折耳朵 Film Blogger Writes an article about the performance of #สวีข่าย…
Different translation:

Now, let's write about Xu Kai's energetic performance.
After watching 'Eight Hundred Meters in Radiance' for the second time, my biggest impression was that he truly brings the characters' fates to life with a sense of storytelling.
This kind of storytelling is hard to pull off. You have to let the audience see how a young man is worn down inch by inch by fate, with no interruption or jumping in between. But Xu Kai completed it, and it was done quite beautifully.

Of course, in 'Story of Yanxi Palace,' Xu Kai does the same. When Fu Heng first appeared, his eyes had a youthful spirit, and
even his joy shone when he looked at Yingluo.
Back then, you just thought this young man was steady, but hadn't truly experienced loss yet. Later, you could feel the things in his eyes changing—each time the imperial decree pressed him, the misunderstandings worn down each time, sinking layer by layer. From sneaking a glance at him to standing far away.
The whole process went so smoothly that you didn't even notice when this boy had swallowed a lifetime of hardship.

But in 'Eight Hundred Meters,' he applies this 'sense of story' to a completely different person. Fu Heng was "unable to let go," while Chen Hui was "unable to go back." His girlfriend was seriously ill, and he made one wrong move after another, eventually killing someone by accident. Even more cruelly,
the person tracking him was his father.

Xu Kai's greatest strength lies in how he pours the "sense of story" into every detail of the character's psychological collapse. Fu Heng's gaze
shifted from restraint and burning heat to silence with clear resignation—not numbness, but "unable to let go."
But Chen Hui is a different story—his eyes still shine when he first appears, but every wrong choice darkens his character. But in the scene where he accidentally kills someone, he collapses completely, tears streaming from within.
That kind of crying isn't begging for mercy, but watching helplessly as you ruin yourself and never turn back. When facing his father, there was fear and guilt in his eyes.
And a trace of unspoken weakness. He doesn't play villains; he only plays one person, and how fate eats him up bit by bit.

This shows just how deeply Xu Kai has studied his roles.
He can show you a unified emotional foundation in completely different roles—that is "truth." Fu Heng's restraint and brokenness were buried in his eyes from the very beginning, and Chen Hui's struggles and despair were destined from the very beginning. The base color has never changed.

Two characters—one evoking sympathy, the other frustrating—were both built by Xu Kai through transitional scenes, building up the characters' steps step by step. Every emotional turning point was precisely in place—neither too early nor one too late.

This is actor Xu Kai. His performances have never been about playing character labels, but about focusing on the characters' situations and portraying the characters' fate and stories.
It was Fu Heng's unbearable endurance, Chen Hui's despair that could not turn back.
There really aren't many young actors with this kind of ability.
I'm willing to look forward to his next drama. It's not because I want to see how many other "differences" he can portray, but because I want to see how deeply he can dig into the word "person" and reach how deep the audience's hearts are.

So, the road of acting is still very long for him, and for the audience, this length is not long, but
an infinite and shining moment worth waiting for and looking forward to.

26.06.06 折折折折耳朵 Film Blogger Writes an article about the performance of #สวีข่าย In #800เมตรคดีปิดตายมรณะ For the fifth time.

After watching 800 Meters Deadly Case Round Two, what I feel most clearly is that he is an actor who can convey the "fate of the character" in a powerful way.

This is not easy, because you have to show the viewer how a young boy is gradually overwhelmed, undermined and changed by fate. There must be no tears on the way. There are no stumbling rhythms, no jumping over emotions, but Swee Kai can do it and do it very beautifully.

Actually, in #เล่ห์รักวังต้องห้าม He had done this before with the role of "Fu Heng" when Fu Heng first appeared. His eyes were still full of youthful brilliance. Even enough liking shines through the eyes. At that time, the viewer only feels that this young man is discreet and stable, but has never truly faced loss, and then you can gradually feel that what is in his eyes begins to change, once oppressed by the royal decree, corroded by misunderstanding again. Everything is gradually added layer by layer. From someone who can still peek at their lover to someone who can only stand and watch from a distance.

The whole process was very smooth. It's so fluid that you can hardly notice when the young boy has swallowed up his whole life of suffering.

By the time he reached 800, Swee Kai applied the same "life story" creation skills to Chen Hui, who was completely different from Fu Heng.

Fu Heng is the one who "can't let go", but Chen Hui is the one who "can't go back".

His girlfriend is seriously ill. He made one mistake, and then everything went wrong one step at a time, until he ended up killing someone, and what was even worse was the people who were investigating and chasing him. Instead, it was his own father.

What Sweenet does best is to convey the life story of the characters through small details every time their minds are broken.

For Fu Heng, his gaze shifted from the heat hidden under restraint. To the silence of those who accept their fate, it is not desperation, but the feeling of those who cannot cut their hearts.

Chen Hui is a completely different person. When he first appeared, there was still a glimmer of hope in his eyes, but every time he made a wrong decision, that spark gradually dimmed, until the scene where he killed someone. The whole body seemed to collapse in the blink of an eye. Tears do not flow out immediately, but gradually seep out from the depths inside.

Crying like that is not a plea for mercy, but a realization with one's own eyes that he has destroyed everything and can never look back.

When confronted by his father, there was fear in his eyes. Feelings of guilt and weakness that cannot be put into words. Swee Kai doesn't play Chen Hui as a "bad guy", but it shows us how a human being is gradually swallowed up by fate.

This is where it shows that Sweekha has a deep understanding of the character. He can make the characters to be extremely different, have a certain common emotional essence, and that core is the "truth".

Fu Heng's restraint and breakdown have been hidden in his eyes since the first appearance. As for Chen Hui's struggle and despair, it is rooted from the first moment he chooses that path, but the essence of the character never changes.

Two characters, one of whom makes people feel heartbroken. The other one makes people look uncomfortable in their chests, but both are characters that Swee is gradually building up step by step. Through the emotional development of the characters, it is as if they are building a ladder step by step. Every emotional turning point is placed in precise rhythm. Not too fast, not too slow.

This is the actor Sweekha. He never shows only the memories or characters of the characters, but shows the life and fate of a person.

Fu Heng is the patience that comes from not being able to let go. Chen Hui is the despair of a person who has no turning back.

Such a talented young actor. I'm looking forward to his next work, not because I want to see how many more "different" roles he can play, but because I want to see if he can dig up the meaning of the word "nuance".
How deep is the "human" and how much can it convey that feeling to the hearts of the audience?

Therefore, the path of Sweekha's actors is still a long way off. The long run is not a long one, but something worth the wait, worth the anticipation, full of limitless possibilities, and shining moments in his acting career." #XuKai #EightHundred #StoryofYanxiPalace

You’re making the exact same point Yu Zheng already made — “no one watches these dramas.” But in reality, Eight Hundred has surpassed expectations for Tencent’s X Theatre and for Jiangsu Satellite TV. It strengthened X Theatre’s reputation, elevated the brand, and Xu Kai has been positively received for his strong performance.

Xu Kai I thought was popular way before FIYS.

Newspapers don’t need Huanyu for drama stills—only the production company. They do need Huanyu’s approval to interview Xu Kai, and Huanyu agreed simply to stay professional and keep good media relations, since approving an interview costs them nothing.

1st, Deng Wei, then Wu Lei , now Xiao Zhan. Her male leads are just 'Wow!' .... Reminds me of Wang Churan. All…
Oh really? Xiao Zhan now…

Honestly, I knew nothing about this girl until I saw her in Northward. Even in the early episodes, I’m a huge Xu Kai fan, and I remember thinking she’d make a great pairing for some lucky male actor. I even thought it’d be nice if Xu Kai could work with her someday, but I doubt it would happen.

I wrote lucky Leo and his fans didn't like it. They wrote lucky Vanda. If I say lucky Xiao Zhan, his fans probably won't like it either. If she pairs with Xu Kai, I'll say lucky Xu Kai too and mean it.

So, when I saw her in Vogue Vacation 2026 line up, she did her catwalk right before Xu Kai and I thought oh wow. the two actors I wanted together. They both have qualities I like.

it wrapped filming 9/26/24! I prefer to see FI before SOTB.
if FI doesn't come first, it will be next year! because I don't' expect this drama to come until after August, and they certainly don't want to air FI until at least 2 to 3 months later.

Which Huanyu actor are you talking about?
Vogue Vacation is extremely exclusive. yeah, how did he get invited?
Xu Kai's outfit is army green? I thought it had some gray tones.

I didn't like his color either, can't' tell if it's black or a very dark blue, and has a tail flowing behind him and a crease in the right shoulder it bunches up. Black usually works with anything but it has to be elegant black.

I understand where you're coming from. When I first saw the outfit, I wasn’t too keen on it either. It wasn’t until he stepped onto the runway and actually moved in it that it clicked for me. That’s when I thought, “Oh — this is brilliant.”

I didn't care for outfits with bright red or really white which felt disconnected from the landscape or green which got lost in the landscape. Against that gorgeous mountain backdrop, the trees, the grass — certain colors pulled attention away from nature.

But Xu Kai’s outfit was different. The earth‑toned shades and layered textures were in harmony with the mountain valley backdrop. On its own, the color palette isn’t extraordinary, but the shirt — the way it opens at the chest, the leopard‑like design — suddenly made sense. When he stood there with his arms outstretched, he looked like a commanding creature claiming the mountaintop.

Because it wasn’t indoors — it was outdoors and windy — the oversized fabric gave the outfit a sense of movement.

By itself, I'm not a fan of this outfit. but in this context, I ended up loving it.

Now, let's talk about Xu Kai. This time, it's not the actor Xu Kai, but the celebrity Xu Kai...

The reason I want to write another article about Xu Kai is simple: simply because I was stunned—yes, truly stunning!

After "Within 800 Meters," when I mention Xu Kai, I naturally think of Chen Hui—the one with dark skin, eyes full of fate toying with unwillingness and resistance, and the resolute Chen Hui like a moth to a flame.

If Chen Hui at that time gave me a pleasant surprise, then the Xu Kai I saw at the VOGUE Gala this time was stunning!

At this VOGUE gala, whether in daily life, red carpet, or dinner parties, what truly made me feel "blended" was Xu Kai, the relaxed vibe he radiated.

You have to know, no matter what kind of ceremony it is, it's essentially the face of fame and fortune under the spotlight. But Xu Kai is different. He gives me a sense of detachment and detachment—a chance encounter without makeup, a blend of nature in the valley photos, and a casual and natural atmosphere at the banquet—all of it speaks to his relaxed attitude. This kind of relaxation can't be faked—it's truly relaxed!

Amidst the relaxation, what caught my glimpse was Xu Kai's calmness as a star. This calmness, as if feeding back, allowed me to glimpse Xu Kai's original intention in choosing and interpreting Chen Hui—not for anything else, but simply to follow the actor's original intention—choosing the difficult and the good, choosing roles and works that truly move the audience and can be remembered by time.

In fact, looking at it this way, whether actor or star, it's just Xu Kai's identity; perhaps he is a relaxed and composed person. There is the pursuit of refusing to be held hostage by fame and fortune, the steadfastness of fearlessness and the clamor of the present world. Thus, we realize that our understanding of Xu Kai is far from sufficient.

We look forward to seeing more Xu Kai in more works and on more occasions, and even more hopefully, his relaxation and calmness will always be there!
