I just finished watching it! I can't help but appreciate Chung's acting. I love the characters! I hated Jin Zhi! I hated Master Xu! I am looking forward to more of Chung's drama. I love how he cried and how he passionately kissed Jing Wan.
I really love this drama! At first, I thought that it would disappoint me but I gave it a shot because of Mickey He. And he never failed me. All the characters acted soo well to the point that I hated the villains.. It made me laugh, smile, and made me cry a lot. I was really touched with Mei Li's kind heart, love, and being strong.. I love the strong character of Wang Ye and hats off to him. He fights really well. He look dashing everything he is showing his fighting skills. I I love Ancestor (Queen Dowager). I love how she protected Mei Li and her love for her and Yun Ke. I love this drama! I strongly recommend this to everyone!
I rarely write a review for the dramas I've watched, but because of my love for this drama, I will write one. I am extremely happy with this drama. It made my heart skip. It made my heart fall in love with Zou Yuhao and Song Mian's character. I can say that Zou Yuhao is a man of all trades who knows almost every craft and skills. I also admire Song Mian's love for the country and for Lan Yanzhi. As for Feng Manna and Lan Yanzhi, I love their characters. I hated Feng Manna and applaud Lan Yanzhi's brilliance. She's considered to be a prodigy with exemplary photographic memory. I agree with Feng Manna when she said that Li Tianmu has a clean heart amidst all the wicked nature of all the people. I also admire the loyalty of Feng Manna's lackey. He held the rope to save her from death until his last breath. I love and extremely happy with the ending. It's not a typical sad ending for a Chinese Drama.
Overall, I applaud the director, writer, producer, cast, and crew of this drama! Hat's off for a job well done!
