I'm a happily ever after girl and I hate tear jerkers and I avoid them like the plague as a rule but once in a while you find one that just appeals to you in some way and not sure how but this was one of those that I decided to chance. Even going in knowing there would be some tears. It really was a great movie, I loved it and the couple were so epic in their rightness for each other. I would have scored higher but I do add and subtract points for each part and endings are a part that gets bonuses for happily ever afters and this one wasn't going to get those points. However, scoring an 8 for me is pretty great in itself so barring the tears....ok, even with the tears, it was really great and super sweet. Cute moments laced the film. Another thing is the lead male's character....are there really guys that freakin awesome? I want one! The couple itself had a great chemistry. Their relationship was so adorable and sweet and cute and just that alone makes your heart skip a beat watching it. For those that don't do tear jerkers, I hear you and I'm totally with you but sometimes it's ok to make that sacrifice. The un shown end might be inevitable but I liked that they ended the movie in such a way that it so closely boarded on happy that it made it watchable even for us happy ending girls/guys. Yes, there are tears....and some more tears and but also really a lot, a lot, of silly smiles and grins....really, they may even out weigh the tears.
