It's interesting how drama makes a seasoned general like Li Kuang fail to understand basic war strategies and go into war thinking that their mission will fail? How did he get to be one of the 8 right hand people? Another thing - what's with this flute playing on the city wall? That is beyond.
After four episodes, I’m struggling with how unlikable nearly everyone is. From the leads to the bit characters,…
You have a good point about the unlikeable characters. I've not been able to connect with NJF on any of his dramas. Started this because it was a mystery and so far, I'm up to EP 8. I'll try to keep going for an episode or two and see if it hooks me
This emperor has very light ears - listening to different factions namely Xu minister, etc. he punished the true patriots and the loyal, not unlike what is happening today.
Can someone explain how is it drama can depict a general as doing nothing but reading a little and spends almost all his time staring at the female lead ? It's a little unrealistic
Have you watched A Familiar Stranger? Many like that drama very much.
A Familiar Stranger is pretty good. I remember it from when I watched it 3 years ago - actually I remember the drama but forgot who the actors were. When I started watching this one, I remember the actor as being the strong silent type. I'm so glad he got a leading part.
