I don't care about rating as long as I am liking the drama is good I red comments saying its not doing good in…
i follow the netflix charts instead LOL. I love seeing more and more countries pop up. when it first came out it made top 10 on netflix in 6 countries but today we're at 19 countries!!
LOL the editing is a bit bad, no? In ep 5 when the guy puts down the bowl/medicine to try to get Yuzhi to go with him all the sudden FL's hands appeared and the male lead appears as well LOLOL. It's like when did these two enter the room?????
I hate 80s/90s Chinese dramas. I don’t know why China produces so many shows set in that period. Maybe it has…
This is the era where Chinese people still rode around in bikes and largely stilled live in villages where they biked to pick up their girlfriend in a neighboring village. There used to be a sense of community that is now lost due to modernization. People didn't have much then and life was very ordinary. it's a very nostalgic time compared to contemporary China where everyone is making a living in big cities and everybody is from everywhere but nobody is from anywhere.
It's pretty nuts to think that all these foreign groups duking it out right now all just ended up being assimilated into a larger Han identity. The Manchurians is just the most recent example and I would imagine Tibetans and Uyghurs are next.
I think it's very interesting that Europe used to call China, Cathay and Russia still calls China, Kitay which is related to these Khitan people.
imagine if this snowballs into another one sided seabling cringefest on twitter? LMAO.
