I think the whole investigation is so lame and i’m not really invested in it is because we don’t really even know FL’s motive for this investigation. Is it just a random company assignment or is there something else involved here? The way the story is told in this drama is that it likes to withold information even in scenes you feel like you as the audience are about to be in the know. it suddenly abruptly cuts or somebody says something vague. Anybody else feel this way?
Man, I took a look at the comments and... what kind of collective meltdown is this? 😂 People seem more stressed…
it's because the romance feels one sided. guy gives up everything and girl doesn't really compromise much. i thought it was so weird that she walked into the back of MLs car to sit with her EX not once but twice. Normally you would ride shotgun but people here think it's so cute that he pulled her out of the backseat. also she just casually goes up to her ex's apartment and then casually agree to dinner with him. like, where's the boundaries?
dad in the background rubbing his hands together like.. "the plan is going along swimmingly" when he sees his "daughter" put the blindfold on the ML 🤣
And the waitress didnt even pay attention to FL running for her life and hitting the fire extinguisher 💀
LMAOO forreal! that part was hilarious. there was like ten dudes chasing one girl behind the waiter lady and she just kept it pushing, not even bothering to look behind her to see what the commotion is all about 🤣🤣

no it's okay. you've already convinced me of your stance. i don't think we need to dwell on it further lol. this is a drama board and not a geopolitical one after all.

i didn't even say anything about communism or their government lol. chinese people are responsible for their own miserable environment. children study a bajillion hours a week and the working class work in shitty conditions for like 12 hours a day. you as a parent can't opt your child out of studying a bajillion hours otherwise they're just became uncompetitive compared to their peers.
it's brutal to be a kid in china unless you are from the upper class. they have nice flashy buildings and trains but life is much better in the west and your companies actually treat you more humanely than chinese companies. even chinese people in china prefer to work in western companies because they actually treat them like humans. like i said it's nice to book a flight and be a tourist in china but to actually live and build a life there is a big HELL NO.
One thing i LOVE about these dramas is... to get a picture of how China was pre 2015..Americans are ignorant,…
China is nice to visit and spend your dollars there but it is an absolute HELL if you want to raise children and make a life there. infrastructure is nice and all, but wages are still shit and the competition is insane.
no, i mean when they're saying "yes" in response to a command given by their "boss". i remember the servants used to say "shi" for yes but now it's like "nuo" for both current dramas - this one and blossoms in power.
basically, "nuo" is historically more accurate according to chatgpt so i guess accuracy is the trend now 🤣
