this has a star studded cast why was it so boring then 😭😭😭
I really enjoyed all the billiards/snooker parts. The scenes with the other players were interesting to me. the scenes with main leads bored me to the point I couldn't even finish this drama. I liked Wu Lei in other dramas but for the life of me I can't imagine I will ever ant to watch anything with the female lead. To be fair to her I should probably try to watch one of her other dramas but for now I can't stand her. I disliked both her and Wu Lei in this drama.

Regarding the 5s, that's me recognizing people do seem to like this show. A vindictive 'one' down the line isn't…
Thanks for the suggestions. Recently She and Her Girls was added to my watch list so I think I will bump it up higher. I might enjoy The Great Craftsman because I studied architecture in college and I still love old buildings with style. Interlaced Scenes sounds up my alley. When my mother was alive she and I loved watching murder mysteries. I will probably pass on Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace. I watched a drama a couple of months ago that I had to stop midway through because It was so depressing. At my age, I'll admit, I prefer happier dramas even though I am not opposed to some of the characters I love dying. Especially the SML in My Dear Guardian.

I watched a black and white horror film when I was a high school student (more years ago than I want to think about). Anyway, after a girl got her arm chopped off I decided horror films were not my thing. Never understood why Americans are so into the SAW, Nightmare on Elm Street, Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Friday the 13th films. Have never seen any of them.

Thank you for your reply. I have only been watching for about 15 months with only 86 dramas under my belt so apparently I have not yet seen the good stuff. I am not a fan of idol dramas. I prefer a good story line. I will add Joy of Life to my watch list to see from your perspective.
I did feel that ADWAD was a good parody of some of the stuff I have seen so far. I try to watch a drama all the way through but yes there are some I couldn't manage for one reason or another. Examples:
Amidst a Snowstorm of Love - pure schlock in my opinion although some people loved it.
Best Choice Ever - boring
Dating in the Kitchen - just couldn't find a good reason to follow
Dr. Cutie - just couldn't slog through this
Only for Love - boring

Now I did really love Arsenal Military Academy and also the Thai version of When A Snail Falls in Love.

I would be interested in learning more dramas you feel are worth watching.

Again, thanks for you input.

For as much as you apparently hated this drama (after only one episode), I am surprised that you actually gave it a 5 for everything except re-watch value.
This drama is a parody of Asian dramas. Apparently you didn't get that memo.

Clearly you did not understand from the beginning that this drama is a parody. Why was ML hated so much? Because in most dramas he is a loved character. Why did FL do what she did? Because she was trying to stay alive long enough to return to her own world. This drama took the usual tropes and turned them inside out. Watch it for the laughs, nothing else or you will be/were disappointed.

You’re welcome. ☺️ I hope your progression through the rest of the drama goes better. Yes, do give other…
I did finish it. Laughed my you know what off when her mother caught them on the couch. Overall my feelings still about the same. But I do understand what you mean about the ML rival.
Till the End of the Moon is actually on my watch list which right now has 65 dramas on it so not sure when I will get to it. I will have to live to at least 100 to watch all the dramas because I keep getting sidetracked by new stuff and old ones I hadn't heard of before. Plus every once in awhile I will watch a movie. Just finished Better Days with Zhou Dongyu and Jackson Yee. I felt it was well done and bought the Blu Ray so I can show it the next time our Chinese Language Club has a function.

Review Love Is Sweet
First: I loved your review. it echoed my feelings about the drama. I am slogging my way through it but don't know if I will actually finish.
Second: Love Bai Lu. Had never seen Luo Yun Xi until this drama. I quite like his character and will watch some of his other dramas to see how I feel about his work.
Third: I am still watching this because I happen to like Wang YiLun. But the 2FL is definitely bordering on creepy stalker.
Fourth: I am finding that as I progress in the drama I am feeling sad for the ML's rival. He grew up in a home where he was indeed the substitute and never really loved. Also taught to be an azzhole. And for some reason I can't explain, I am drawn to his eyes.
Anyway, thank you for your heartfelt review.
