Maybe if you did some research, it’s based on the novels, so Milk has that hairstyle because the character in the book does too, the same goes for Pon’s hair. I don't want to come as rude but this is just how my explaining is😭

I think Uncle Petch stayed because he wanted the others to escape to safety? The lock was from the inside and the thugs were already after them. If he hadn't sacrificed himself, it would have been possible they would have caught them easily. So it kinda made sense, but ofc maybe they did it so the story could continue.
