How does a fully blind person know who they love? People have their other senses too. Prosopagnosia (face blindness ) is a real thing that can't be fixed in real life but we dont know if it's something that will be fixed in the show yet. (It is a fantasy setting so it's possible at some point)

The male lead can't see or recognise her facial features but he can still see her. He also knows her voice, her smell, her mannerisms and he can sense her.

It may have some romance in it (how much we don't know yet), but it's not a romance focused drama.

This is also a world where a poison can cause a woman to shapeshift into different people on the full moon, so anything's possible. 🤣 We just got to roll with it.

Yep, the heart-guarding scale saved a part of him. So we can do with that knowledge what we want to. (an open ending) He may return one day, after enough time and cultivation. (or not, depending on how you want to look at it) A part of his essence was saved in the novel too and he is eventually reborn after 1,000 years and they are reunited. Susu keeps searching for him in that time. The clips that I posted in my comment that Youku released also touch on that.

I definitely second the recommendation to read the happy ending chapters of the novel. (if a HE is something you want). It completes what the drama hints at, at the end.

Bit of a shame there's no repeats because he really was great. But looking forward to some of the upcoming transformations which also seem funny judging by the bts.

I'm enjoying it. I'd give it a few episodes at least. But like any drama, it's not going to be for everyone.

I was actually wondering the same thing. So far we haven't seen her repeat them. I was hoping to see her first transformation of the drama again because his comedic timing was just perfect. 😂

Adam's apples vary in size and prominence on all men. Some larger, some not visible at all. He has always looked that way, and there is nothing wrong with that. He's not the only actor in the world to not have a prominent one. Also nothing wrong with his voice, it's not a baritone but it's not overly light.

Every drama follows a different schedule, but most do tend to air daily. (though sometimes with a break throughout the week) Often they'll drop 4-6 episodes on the first night to draw people in, then drop it down to two or one afterwards.

This drama is airing two episodes every day atm. So we will be up to episode 23/24 by this Sunday. We don't know the schedule after the 30th, but I imagine it will probably continue that way until it has finished.

The scene in tavern with those men saying all the horrible things about Yan Nan Xing being a loose woman made me so sad. Song Yi played it very well. The way she tried to act like it didn't bother her at all, but it clearly did.
