Zhennan Hou is the best character of the drama for sure, his expressions and comedic timing are excellent; I'm a fan! Sometimes supporting characters truly make the show
How is the ml in rise of ning? I read he is also a good actor.
he's suitable for his character but the chemistry is not as strong as Ren Min & Ci Sha.. I guess I'll check out "Are You the One" though since so many people recommended it
Started watching "The Rise of Ning" for Ren Min & Ci Sha but it's not quite as good.. Ci Sha is still hot though, even though he doesn't get much screen time since he's not the ML. I really do with this one had more eps.. like 46 or 50 - maybe things could've wrapped up better
IT'S DEF USED. I almost used it when I was in China a few weeks ago lmao
haha no worries. I'm female and opted against it since I was hiking (also) and felt a little unwell from altitude sickness.. didn't want to be chatting a cute guy up and then suddenly puke on him is why it didn't happen.
A lot of the reviews online actually agree that the main leads’ chemistry carried the whole show. That was really…
Yesss, and I enjoy their BTS cuts too. I guess this is why they have repeat collabs with actors. The more time they spend together, the more familiar they are with each other, which can improve the chemistry (sometimes)!
For how flawed the plot was (especially in the latter half) and how underwhelming the ending turned out to be, I absolutely loved chasing this drama. I'm also absolutely obsessed with Ci Sha now.. the fantastic performance from so many of the actors, main and support, breathtakingly beautiful set and costume design, and great OST make up for the lack of coherence in the writing (like why was the focus totally on GJZ for the first half and then CYY and barely closure on their romance especially after the bogus CXQ shenanigans). Either way, it's been a fun one! Will return to my favorite episodes that I noted (18, 20, and 21) from time to time - it's always after the halfway point when things go awry huh..
Also didn't expect to have so many kiss scenes in this show. I mean it makes sense they had already kissed, hugged…
my friend and I have a theory that dramas are getting spicier these days after a tame period bc they really need to push people to have more kids lmao.. how else can these get past the screening? i.e the spicy scenes in sniper butterfly
