I'm guessing he wasn't dead to begin with. At the funeral Xie Yun Huai (the doctor friend) asked to roam the world/hone his craft or whatever so I think they've been together and he has been trying to heal him the entire time. I also assume Xihe knew about it, though no idea, the embroidered envoy (Zhao) was in on it, since he had the hankerchief delivered. I didn't read the novel so no idea how it ends there, but I think they should have gone a bit more indepth in the show. He was basically back 10sec before the show ended. When the credits started rolling I was just like: wut?! that's it?!
Very true... And I think ep. 8 is one of the best int this series... that scene made me laugh so much I couldn't…
Agree, that scene was also really beautiful, loved how he smiled.
I don't watch a lot of thai drama because I feel like often the script or the acting isn't very good. But I'm really enjoying this one, I actually binged all the available episodes today and I never got bored. Really liking this production.
