i mean, in my eyes, XL has more to lose. he has hundreds of mens lives in his hands as the commander of an army, and has taken a vow to the person who saved his life. i would want to know that the person i'm potentially giving all that up for at least likes me lol. and as a demon who has never felt love before, i wouldn't want to take the first step either. but both have had opportunities to confess and neither have taken it. if XY wants a man to fall at her feet and devote themselves to her, then she's found that in Jing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry that XL bears a heavy responsibility, and refuses to give that up for a woman who won't even say she likes him lmao. Xiaoyao can keep that little wimp. I hope she misses XL every day of her life.
