idk i love ming so much the fact that he recreates their old memories to try and confirm that hes the real joe speaks so much for itself i love his determination to find the truth and that he believed joe is still alive after so long he doesn’t let anyone talk bad about joe and ya he realized his feelings too late but imagine losing the one you love most and have the guilt from the past swallow you up for years where everyone is also telling you to get over it

in conclusion i just really love ming

i realllyyyy wish they would have made the scenes where everyone found out its joe to be more dramatic cuz it didnt hit as hard as it did in the novel 😭i hope the scene where they see his body has all characters sobbing

yes in the novel they found his body but i wouldn’t be surprised if they change it in the series as a lot of things have already been changed from the original

ep 2 was way better than 1 tbh also idk about yall but i still see gem4 chemistry here and think they play the characters pretty well 🤷‍♀️

yess i was hoping to see his brother too i feel hes the only good one in mings family in the novel, i hope that just bc they changed may a lot in the series and made her and ming have a good bond doesn’t mean they won’t add the brother

not sure how they planned to format the story until the end in the series we’ll have to see but i do hope they cover everything and that we get special eps since the book is very detailed i wish they would include some of that in the series as well cuz some scenes require the additional details and i feel it would just flow way better with the story theyre showing us

i think the reason as to why they didnt add ming discovering real joe next ep is bc of the body, before he finds out about joe wut gets a call with news that they found joes body so they all go to see it and its a VERY hard scene im not ready for it mings condition is verrrryy bad but he finds out a little bit after when hes in joes condo and joe uses the key to open the door

yea ill be honest i thought at the end of ep 8 ming wouldve found out when joe goes to his condo i feel it would’ve been better that way but idk cant say anything until 8 is released

i feel you i wish we didnt have to wait a whole WEEK but in a way the wait creates excitement for the next ep i kinda like that i didnt wait to binge watch this
