why is usa takuma in every Japanese bl
Haha right?! At this point, Usa Takuma feels like a mandatory DLC for every single Japanese BL that exists! 😂 He was in At 25:00, in Akasaka, Cosmetic Playlover, Takara-kun & Amagi-kun... the list just goes on and on. Honestly, I'm not even mad because he is so talented and attractive, but he really has a total monopoly on the jBL universe right now

On At 25:00, in Akasaka 5 hours ago
I remember being absolutely obsessed with this drama when it came out! At 25:00, in Akasaka is such a top-tier, mature JBL. Hayama is the ultimate embodiment of a confident, protective, and intensely possessive alpha male lead, and his chemistry with Shiki was just burning hot! The whole 'actors in a BL show' setting was so unique and addictive. A well-deserved 9/10 masterpiece that stays in your mind! 🎬🔥❤️

Even though I rated this drama a 7.5/10, it was still a really good and enjoyable watch! I love second-chance romances, and the mature chemistry between Miyata and Iwunaga was so intense and electric. Iwunaga being that confident, possessive male lead who does everything to win him back was pure gold. The plot felt a bit rushed at times, but it’s definitely a solid, high-tension jBL that is fully worth watching! ❤️🔥

I can't believe this drama came out in 2024, it feels like I watched it just yesterday because the story stayed in my heart for so long! I Hear the Sunspot is a pure masterpiece. I love doing rewatches because the plot is so beautiful, emotional, and comforting. The way Taichi takes care of Kohei and becomes his safe haven in a world of silence completely melts my heart. A flawless 10/10 that everyone needs to watch! 😭☀️❤️

On Cosmetic Playlover 5 hours ago
I know some people found this drama a bit slow or boring, but honestly, I think it's absolutely amazing! Cosmetic Playlover is a top-tier office BL. Sahashi is the perfect type of possessive, protective, and intensely charismatic alpha lead, and his chemistry with Mamiya is burning hot! The makeup world setting was so unique and refreshing. A well-deserved 10/10 comfort watch that I keep rewatching! 💄✨🔥

I am absolutely obsessed with My Personal Weatherman, I love this BL so much! 😭❤️ Segasaki is the ultimate protective and possessive alpha male lead, his obsession with Yoh is just pure perfection. The chemistry between Higuchi Kouhei and Mashiko Atsuki is burning hot, and their lack of communication is both frustrating and highly addictive. A flawless 10/10 masterpiece that I keep rewatching all the time! ☀️☂️🔥

Title Sing in Love
everything about that was some real stupid fucking crap. waste of time
Haha, tell us how you really feel! 😂 It’s definitely an extreme psychological ride and a very acquired taste. If you were expecting a basic, fluffy romance, this movie is a total whiplash. It’s definitely not for everyone, but for fans of dark cinema, it’s a masterpiece

Title Sing in Love
Somewhere between garbage regarding itself as high art and high art slumming as garbage.I'll need at least two…
This is hands down the most brilliant and accurate comment in the entire section! You hit the nail on the head. People on MDL constantly confuse 'BL' with 'Gay-Themed cinema'. Sing in Love has absolutely nothing to do with fluffy rom-coms like Bad Buddy [2.1]. It’s a raw, disturbing psychological piece [2.1]. Personally, I loved that dark, artsy chaos so much it’s a 10/10 for me, but your warning is 100% necessary. People need to know what they're getting into!

I just hate ending 🥲
Honestly, big mood! 😭💔 The ending completely shattered my soul into a million pieces and I was crying so much. It is just so incredibly cruel and tragic. I hate it but at the same time, it’s what makes the movie a painful masterpiece. Sending you virtual hugs, we are all traumatized together!

Title Sing in Love
I feel like people love Kai more than Jin I don't see that as a problem but I see people loving Kai he like overrated…
You are definitely NOT the only one! I completely agree with you and your comment actually made me tear up. Jin’s life was pure heartbreak from start to finish, and seeing him suffer so much while his destiny ended in tragedy completely shattered my soul. People often fall for Kai just because he has that charismatic, magnetic aura, but Jin is the one who truly deserved all the love and protection. He was such a deeply tragic character and my heart bled for him. You have an amazing, mature empathy for loving Jin more!

Title Sing in Love
I couldn't continue after the s.xual abuse scene, I felt nauseous.
I completely understand and respect your decision. That scene was incredibly raw, brutal, and deeply triggering. These types of psychological movies push extreme boundaries, and it is totally okay to drop a show if it makes you feel uncomfortable or nauseous. Your mental well-being always comes first, so please don't force yourself to watch things that feel too heavy!

Title Sing in Love
Oh my god, Sing in Love completely wrecked me! That plot twist near the end was such a massive shock, I was crying my eyes out during the final scenes. 😭💔 It is a very dark, heavy, and psychological story, but the emotional impact is just unforgettable. The acting and the dark chemistry were pure perfection. A tragic 10/10 masterpiece that stays with you forever!

"Honestly, this movie was so twisted and messed up, but surprisingly it was actually really good! It is definitely way too 18+ at times, haha, so be prepared for a lot of explicit scenes! 😂 But under all that controversy, the psychological story about trauma, survival, and unexpected healing was so raw and powerful. The acting was spectacular. A dark, intense 10/10 masterpiece for mature viewers! 🖤🩹💊

Title Double Mints
I don't understand how he can be part of the yakuza when he cries at every turn and calls Mitsuo to handle things…
I totally get why you feel that way, it looks so absurd at first! But that's actually the whole tragic point of his character. He never joined the yakuza because he was a tough guy—he was just a weak, broken, and desperate kid trying to find power and a place to belong. His constant crying and panic attacks show how out of his depth he really is in that brutal world. That's exactly why he needs the other Mitsuo so badly; it fuels their crazy, dependent bond where one becomes the ultimate, ruthless protector for the other. It's messed up but so well-written!

uh yeah, these guys are very messed up.
Right?! They seriously need a mountain of therapy, haha. It's definitely a very dark and heavy ride, but watching their twisted bond unfold is just pure, captivating chaos. Flawless acting for such a messed up story!

OMG ... SO UNDERRATED!!!!! it's so so powerful ... Full of everything that is bitter but in the end is kind of…
YES!!! Say it louder for the people in the back! It is SO incredibly underrated it hurts. You described it so perfectly—the beauty of this masterpiece is exactly in its raw cruelty and brutality. It’s a bitter, painful journey, but that twisted bond between them is just so intensely powerful and captivating. I keep rewatching it and crying my eyes out every single time. A masterpiece!

Title Double Mints
if i were to judge this on the acting alone, i'd give it a 10/10... cuz the acting was spectacular, it was the…
I totally agree that the acting was an absolute 10/10 masterclass, they completely carried the film! But for me, the 'weak' and unexplained plot was actually the best part. Their obsession doesn't have a logical 'why' or 'when'—it's just a raw, destructive force that they can't control. The movie doesn't want to explain things, it just wants you to feel their heavy, twisted bond. It definitely leaves you with many questions, but that psychological, confusing chaos is why I keep rewatching it and crying every time, haha!

Title Double Mints Spoiler
why does he stab himself on the face at the end? to act like the other mitsuo did previously in the film and show…
You actually hit the nail on the head! That's exactly why he did it. It’s a deeply disturbing but beautiful metaphor for them finally becoming absolute equals. Throughout the whole movie, their dynamic was all about twisted dominance and submission. By giving himself the exact same scar, he erased that power gap. It was his way of saying 'we are the same person now, sharing the same dark destiny'. It's tragic but such a powerful ending for this masterpiece!

Title Double Mints
This is easily one of the best and most profound movies I have ever watched! Even though it is very dark and heavy, it is deeply beautiful and completely worth it. I cry a river every single time I rewatch it, no matter how many times I've seen it. 😭💔 The raw, intense, and hypnotic chemistry between the main leads is just out of this world. A dark BL masterpiece that owns my whole soul! 10/10! 🌿🖤
