does anyone know the name of the sad guitar instrumental that would play throughout the series?
Yes! That beautiful, heartbreaking guitar melody is an instrumental track from the official OST called 'Chihiro' (or listed as 'Sadness of Youth' on some platforms). It plays during the most emotional scenes and it honestly makes me cry every single time I hear it. It perfectly captures the sad mood of the show!

This drama made me cry so much, it is incredibly emotional and dark! But oh my god, the beginning had me laughing so hard when Chihiro literally hit Haosie with a dildo, haha! 😂 That scene was legendary. The transition from that chaotic comedy to a deeply intense and heartbreaking story about healing and trust was amazing. A perfect 10/10 masterfully written BL! 😭❤️

Does anyone have suggestions for BL shows/movies that are all about making each other better and healing each…
You have an amazing taste! If you loved Love for Love's Sake and I Hear the Sunspot, you absolutely HAVE to watch these two:Between Us (Thai) - This is the ultimate healing and safe-haven BL. One lead struggles with deep past trauma and severe sleeping anxiety, and the other naturally becomes his comfort and protector. Their emotional growth and trust are beautiful.Blue Canvas of Youthful Days (Chinese) - A deeply emotional masterpiece about a deaf painter and a musician. It is a slow-burn, poetic story about healing and finding a connection without words. It will make you cry, but the healing aspect is top-tier.Both have elite chemistry and are all about making each other better!

was thinking of watching this only to find out i did watch it last year and dropped it damn
Haha, damn, the ultimate plot twist! But seriously, if you ever feel like watching something super light and funny, try to pick it up again. The humor is top-tier and the characters are so quirky and attractive. It's the perfect stress-free watch!

This drama was so incredibly funny, I laughed so much while watching it! The guy in glasses talking to flowers was absolutely hilarious, chaotic, and so insanely hot at the same time. The chemistry was amazing and the humor was just top-tier. A perfect 10/10 comfort BL that always cheers me up! 👓🌸🔥

I actually didn't like the first 4 episodes because the story is not my cup of tea but everything changes when…
I totally get what you mean! It takes a second to get into the story, but once it hits you, it hits like a truck. I keep rewatching it and the emotional breakdown is always the same, haha. You're so right that keeping it short was the best choice for the plot, even if it leaves us wanting more!

its so sad ima kms
Honestly, same! This show completely destroyed my emotional stability. I’ve rewatched it and I swear it feels like mental torture every single time. Koichi and Mitsuru really chose violence when they made us fall in love with them just to rip our hearts out! 😭💔

2026 and still thinking about this BL. It's how good and tragic it is
Omg same! It's 2026 and I still do rewatches and cry my eyes out every single time. 😭💔 It is just that good and tragically beautiful. Some BLs stay with you forever, and Koichi and Mitsuru’s story permanently changed something in my soul. A timeless masterpiece that hurts just as much today!

10/10 Have tissue ready. As with most Japanese BLs the storyline is amazing. I assume there is lots of Japanese…
So true! The warning about having tissues ready is a literal understatement. This show completely tore my heart to pieces. Watching them use their remaining 'miracle' time to love each other to the fullest while knowing the inevitable ending was just pure emotional torture. A flawless 10/10 but it hurts so much!

On Eternal Yesterday 6 hours ago
No matter how many times I rewatch Eternal Yesterday, I always cry a river, it is just too heartbreakingly sad! 😭💔 Watching Mitsuru struggle so hard to accept that Koichi is slowly dying and fading away is pure emotional torture. The pain of watching Koichi's body get colder, and that final, inevitable goodbye where he truly disappears completely shattered my soul. A devastating 10/10 masterpiece that leaves me a crying mess every single time.

somehow Gaku & Kai relationships made me feel like watching BL XD
Haha you are SO right, it literally felt like a full BL hidden behind kitchen counters! 😂 The tension, the intense protective stares, and that magnetic closeness... they gave us more chemistry than most actual romantic shows out there. As a massive BL fan, my radar was going crazy the entire time, haha!

What's worse than keeping someone random as your homies and tension up your "closeness" with the aims…
Haha, you hit the nail on the head! They really said 'let's explain mathematical gastronomy' but what they actually meant was 'let's deliver the most intense, magnetic bromance of the year'. The food looked amazing, but that insane chemistry between Gaku and Kai was the real five-star dish here, man I love it too!

I am so deeply in love with Fermat's Cuisine! The cooking and math theme was amazing, and the bromance between Gaku and Kai was so intense and cute. But oh my god, that ending completely broke my heart into pieces! 😭💔 Seeing their beautiful bond crack under all that darkness and pain was so devastating. A flawless 10/10 masterpiece that made me cry so much, but I still love it to pieces!

Absolutely nothing happening in this show
Honestly, that’s exactly why I loved it! It’s definitely a very slow slice-of-life, but for me, it wasn't boring at all. It felt like a super cozy, stress-free comfort watch after all the heavy, toxic dramas out there. The quiet, cute moments were just pure dopamine for my heart!

why is the acting in this leagues worse than usual for jbl?? im struggling to get through it
Honestly, you're not wrong! The acting can feel incredibly stiff and awkward compared to other JBL masterpieces. If you're not into slow, completely motionless slice-of-life plots where literally nothing happens, this is pure torture to get through. The awkwardness is sometimes painful, and the lack of romantic payoff doesn't help either, haha

Honestly I loved Amagi's quirky behavior, every time he had his panic moments I laughed so hard. This is great…
Right?! Amagi's panic attacks and his inner monologues were absolutely hilarious and so endearing. It’s the ultimate comfort show! After watching so many angsty, heartbreaking BLs where everyone is crying, this was exactly the pure dopamine and chill vibe I needed. Total 10/10 for comfort!

am I the only one confused about the sudden confession?? and just like that they're 'dating'? I thought I was…
You're definitely not the only one! I felt exactly the same way when I watched it. The pacing went from zero to a hundred so fast that it felt like an entire episode or a few crucial scenes were missing (probably cut short by censorship or budget issues). It ruins the build-up, but honestly, if you push through, the chemistry later on gets much better! But yeah, the dating part felt completely out of nowhere, haha

On Takara-kun & Amagi-kun 6 hours ago
I absolutely love how soft, fluffy, and cute this drama is! Takara and Amagi have such an endearing chemistry that completely melts my heart. My only slight disappointment was the final kiss—I really hoped for a better, more emotional one! And don't say I only care about 18+ stuff, because I'm a huge bromance fan where there's zero kissing, haha! But here, the sweet romance was still a well-deserved 10/10 comfort watch! 🌸✨❤️

This drama is such a beautiful, hidden gem BL! The seaside atmosphere was incredibly cozy and nostalgic, but the best part was definitely the main leads. The chemistry between Shun and Nagisa was so pure, warm, and natural—it completely melted my heart. A flawless 10/10 masterpiece that always comforts my soul! 🌊❤️

On Drowning Love 6 hours ago
I have rewatched Drowning Love so many times because it is just incredibly beautiful and aesthetic, but honestly? I still don't fully understand what was going on, haha! 😂 But that's the magic of Japanese cinema. The dark, intense chemistry between Nana Komatsu and Masaki Suda is just hypnotic. It's a tragic, poetic masterpiece that hugs your soul even if it leaves you confused. 10/10 visual art! 🌊🔪❤️
