On Love of Silom (Uncut Ver.) 20 hours ago
I consider myself a veteran when it comes to BLs, and after being a fan for over 15 years, I have to say this is one of the BLs that disappointed me the most, especially because I was really looking forward to it.

It wasn’t just because of the comments from other viewers saying that many scenes felt skippable or a bit cringe. My biggest issue is that the series didn’t know how to handle its own concept. The idea itself is interesting, but the execution feels very disorganized.

First of all, the characters seem all over the place, and nothing really connects properly. There isn’t a clear direction or a consistent theme. One thing happens, then suddenly something completely different happens, and you’re left wondering what the actual main plot is supposed to be. It feels like the story is being improvised as it goes along.

I’m usually someone who gives BLs several episodes before judging them, and while I did watch all of the episodes that have aired so far, the series never really managed to capture my attention the way I hoped it would. I kept waiting for the story to click or for a stronger direction to emerge, but that moment never came for me.

There were too many moments that felt skippable, and it lacked the intensity that many other BLs manage to deliver.

What frustrates me even more is that the cast is genuinely talented. Their previous series, Lovely Rider, was very well made and received a lot of love from fans. However, in this case, it feels like the production team didn’t really know what they wanted to do with the story. The actors are not the problem—the problem is the writing and the way the series handles its concepts, timeline, and overall narrative structure. Everything feels confusing and disconnected.

I wouldn’t call it one of the worst BLs of the year, but I definitely wouldn’t consider it one of the best either. Of course, this is just my personal opinion, but that’s ultimately why I didn’t enjoy it. The issue was never the actors; it was the way the series was written and managed.

Honestly, despite keeping up with every episode released so far, I still don’t feel invested in the story, and that’s probably my biggest disappointment. But that’s just my take on it.
