I don't know how people were able to write reviews as soon as the drama finished because I'm still trying to process…
Same, I still couldn't pick myself up to write a review since I still feel so empty. I don't know if i'll be able to express all my feelings well as i'm still suffering from that tragic end. Though, maybe i'll try writing one tonight.

Why was Youngro screaming Sooho's name at the end when she was being dragged away from him, as (Sushi). Haha i…
It's actually 'sooho-ssi', the added '-ssi' after Sooho's name is an honorific and koreans use it to politely address someone either older than them (like oppa, ahjussi), one who has higher social status or gender. Youngro probably used it instead of oppa as it would have been a bit unfitting during such a heartwrecking situtation for her to scream 'sooho oppa'.

Please recommend a nice romantic drama with a happy ending to me. I really need to watch something to get over…
Here are some of the romantic dramas from least latest to latest ones (2019-2021):

- crash landing on you
- it's okay not to be okay
- extraordinary you
- hometown chachacha
- dali and the cocky prince
- so i married an anti-fan
- doom at your service (plot was kinda draggy)
- nevertheless (this one is super toxic though)
- hometown chachacha
- our beloved summer

If you wanna watch ones where some of the SD cast stars in then I recommend you try one spring night and something in the rain (noona -dongsaeng type of romance) if you're into jung haein, but these two dramas of his are melo. For yoo inna, try touch your heart. As for minkyu, try a business proposal but this one is yet to air this feb. 21, i'm anticipating it as well. The other upcoming romance dramas for 2022 would be, love and leashes (airs feb. 11) and forecasting love and weather (noona-dongsaeng type of romance, airs feb.12).

It's a habit because I found myself back here too. Yes, the ending didn't surprise me & I do like that it was…
Right, it was expected given the plot plus how there were scenes which foreshadowed his fate already. One would be when he told Youngro to forget about their 'kiss', then when he recorded a message for her where they cut it only to the part of him saying "Youngro", when he reassured Youngro and told her that he is superman but she joked that he can't even fly, the other would be from earlier episodes which is the meaning of his name. Also, even before the drama ever aired just basing from the poster of Snowdrop, I already expected that he was going to d word. Learned such after watching scarlet heart, yom and uncontrollably fond where the fate of the main characters were already hinted on the posters itself. There is always that one who would look at their beloved while the other looks far away. I honestly only cried during that scene where they brutally killed him, yet with all the might he has left, he shielded Youngro until the end. Literally cried buckets as each bullet pierced through him...the pain for us is doubled since his one of our fave characters. Truthfully, I still can't get that scene out of my head.

The thing about sad endings is that they give you so much strong emotions as pain and make you bawl your eyes in tears, only to leave you feeling completely empty once the screen turns black.

What is Jung haein's favorite scene from the drama ? Is it the final "bonus" clip of him singing in front of youngro…
I think he was referring to the real ending of the drama itself rather than the bonus clip. As what he had said during his interview, the last filming, last scene, last ending. Another to consider is the emotional impact that ending brought so i'm pretty sure 'that' is the memorable he was referring to.

Silly of me to consider watching Youth of May after this. Nope. I won’t do that to myself. Maybe next yr. it’s…
You definitely did the right thing on stopping yourself there haha... as someone who has already watched yom and is very fond of it, I do encourage you to give it a shot once you heal from sd.

Came back here because i still can't get over it, i had already expected such an ending since the beginning. 2021 dramas really said, no to happy endings. From watching yom to trs, now sd. As one who has been fond of tragic/sad/bittersweet endings, I was dumb to think that i'd be able to manage since i've been through this kind of PAIN from watching dramas/movies with same fate of ending. BUT! how brutally sooho died was the last straw for me to bawl my eyes out. Now idek how to move on.

Can't believe snowdrop is officially ending tonight. Like, did a month really go by that fast? I remember the first time I saw its trailer on Youtube and how excited I got. The anticipation and waiting for its official release and after all the controversies it went through, making me lose some hope and the fear of it being cancelled, fortunately JTBC defended it until the end. Now, we are finally here, reaching the end. Don't know how my weekends would be without having anything to look forward to, despite how frustrated this drama makes me. Hopefully though, they give us answers to the loads of unanswered questions and give us a justifiable ending (not one that feels so rushed with many unanswered stuff). Lowkey going to miss coming to this comment section as well, this is the first drama that made me comment 'lots', though I joined somewhere in the middle.

Bun Ok's stupidity is so astronomical that it makes me want to jump into the screen and strangle her. I understand…
Boon Ok lost her humanity and I find it stupid of her to think that the ANSP will help her and what spare her life?? not after how she colluded with NK spies and almost killed Ms.Pi if not for the unloaded gun. That girl is willing to put a bullet on someones head, with no sense of remorse. Just two episodes left and she's still out there, that I still also don't get why they don't bother tying her up after all the mess she has been constantly causing throughout the episodes. Then we got kitchen lady tied up instead. Honestly, I hate her character more than Director Eun's wife who's obsessed with the death of 13 virgin girls. All the things she had done is beyond redemption, she's the worst and her life situation is no way an excuse for her actions.

I understand why people don't like young ro in this series. She's weak and cry in every single episode. People…
Actually, Youngro is the most humane/realistic character out of all the characters in Snowdrop. Like you, i'm also okay with the way her character has been portrayed in this drama. I honestly don't consider her 'weak' regardless of the times she cried in almost each episode. It's other peoples' expectations that make her seem like a useless character, as after all she is the 'female lead', thus people will set a lot of expectations on her character. Not to add how there are also quite a number of strong characters here in Snowdrop that could easily steal the limelight. However, if you do give more attention to even the simplest details, how she is after all just a student who was living a normal life and doing nothing but give kindness. She fell inlove at first sight, her innocence about love and the realities of the world etc. From the beginning her character has always been portrayed as innocent and kind. There was never a mention or a hint of her character knowing how to deal with such extreme situations under which she was put in, she is not Dr.Cheongya who is an NK spy nor Jang Hanna who works for ANSP. Her character literally has no 'heroic' or 'badass' traits. It's clearly been shown since the beginning. It's just that some people put too much expectations on her as she is the FL, and people these days are more into those who are 'heroic' and they consider 'crying' as being weak or nothing but a 'damsel in distress'. But, Youngro isn't a weak female lead. She is realistic and brave. Most of all she is kindhearted, that no matter how much tragedy she went through or how many bad people had done her, she chose to forgive and care for them. She is a self-less FL. I think some people forgot or find her actions small, since the first hostage scenes, she tried fighting back, bravely snatching away the detonator from Sooho, she even decieved him. We also saw how she put her life at stake by revealing her identity, how she made sure every one of the hostages would be safe, how at the latter episodes she shielded Sooho. She had constantly been trying to be brave, regardless of the pain she went through in less than a week. From finding out she hid an nk spy, losing her brother, got a gun pointed in her head a number of times, to her dad getting shot and now the people she cared for and is trying to save before herself is hating on her just because she is a child of an evil man they hate. Imagine both the mental and physical pain she went through, plus the guilt that is eating her up as well, it is so traumatic just thinking about putting myself in her shoes. I would've gone insane at that point or killed myself, but she, Youngro held on.

Yep, I did 🀧 and sighs tonights episode will be so intense...I doubt there'd ever be a character redemption arc for boon ok or comrade joo or even director eun. There is really no one to trust as every single one of them have evil intentions up their sleeves. It seems from preview, Sooho will be running away with Dr.Cheongya and money. The ending could be either they successfully flee to another country or not. I have a thin line of hope for a happy ending, but I still think a sad/tragic ending would be so predictable, like you, I wouldn't mind open endings too.

1. Not to be bias but it's Sooho for me, after all he is Taedong River 1. I've gotten so curious about his past…
Exactly! Even more so now that she has finally stepped out of the dorm and is taking action. Liked her even more when she gave Nam Taeil a hard slap, it was so satisfying. I've read quite a lot of criticisms about her character too but I still liked her, since the beginning of the SD when she was just helping hide Sooho.
