Title Late to Love
I just randomly picked this up and it's unexpectedly good. The usual tropes are there but I don't find it overly done or cliche. The actors are also doing a great job and I love their chemistry.

I hope Bai Lu’s makeup looks more like her older dramas here. Idk what changed since Moonlight Mystique but…
Actually it's not about her make-up stylist they have the least authority, when it comes to drama filming, the one who commands everything is the director plus producer. They always follow the script and their vision for the drama. For moonlight mystique, her make up and overall styling was intentionally chosen that way since the director wanted to create a new xianxia feel.

I preferred a new drama bailu paired with hou minghao
that would've been nice too, but I don't think it'll be possible to get them on a new drama together

I feel so bad for IU and BWS for having to face so much hate and also being forced to apologize for things that…
It's honestly frustrating to hear that they are facing backlash over a matter that could be overlooked unless stated otherwise that this drama was based on 'real history' then I would understand but even the intro of the drama states it is a fictional work. I guess since Perfect Crown had been so popular, certain people are eager to see its downfall hence, the overblown so-called historical error.

I also find it ridiculous how certain people expect the actors to notice these details when clearly they already have so much plate in their hands, these jobs should be left to the production and writer not the actors, then again, how many dramas have been produced over the years that used korean history yet their errors were not pointed out or how about the medical inaccuracies of certain korean dramas, why didn't those stuff get backlash too, i'm speaking as someone with medical expertise, yet they let those laughable medical scenes uncalled out. Clearly, these certain people are just people with ulterior motives to spread hate on this drama,

It's really sad how instead of celebrating they are facing this now, I am hoping that when the air clears a bit more, they'd atleast release those post-interviews or post-drama contents.

I still haven't watch the last two episodes, I think I will hold off watching it until next week as I don't want to say goodbye to this drama yet.

You said exactly what I meant to say because I also have the same personality as YuGyeong and I understand her…
glad to know I'm not the only one who shares same sentiment with her, she's been easily misunderstood by some because of her overthinking tendencies

This has been my comfort drama so far. I'm so reluctant for this to end. I might hold off from watching the last two episodes for a while. It's been a long time since I felt so much for a k-drama again.

I am only liking your comment because you said some nice things about Yu Gyeong. And of course, because you gave…
I think I am in the minority who thought of it this way, I just relate with her in certain aspects but let's see what happens next.

Title Heart Signal Season 5 Spoiler
I just caught up with the latest episode. I tend to be one of those people in dating shows who usually don't lean on the 'most popular' participant. It's a first for me to root for a popular participant, it's just that I really like how down to earth Yu Gyeong's personality is and another reason could possibly be due to how I tend to relate in certain aspects of her personality. Specifically, as an overthinker myself, I understand where Yu Gyeong is coming from, her dilemmas as she's fallen deeply head over heels for Woo Yeol. For over thinkers, 'vagueness' 'ambiguity' 'uncertainty' are the powerful feeders of this vicious overthinking cycle that affects our decisions or actions. I could only imagine how much harder she had it after finding out the truth and living in such environment.

It's more complex than what it all seems to be onscreen. She definitely felt they were at the same pace and they had something special but she realized it was all in her head. Such truths hit like a train wreck. Also considering how previously she mentioned having experienced of being afraid of trusting someone too much. So a factor of her previous history or past relationships also plays an important role here. I do get her actions with this recent episode has been frustrating as they are only beginning and this is how dating shows usually work. You get to know everyone else before you are set.

Woo Yeol is objectively not wrong in his actions for wanting to get to know the other women. Which Minju had thankfully stated. However, the problem is not with that itself, it's how he seemed so certain in front of the person he is with. He tends to give very strong signals like he is already 'inlove' with the person he is with, when in reality he is just still in a pace of 'wanting to get to know' that person. Because of how forward and strong he comes off majority of the time, it turns into a double-edge sword especially with how Yu Gyeong and Gyuri seems to be the type that fall easily head over heels with someone, even if they don't want to, which leads us to the complicated relationship between the three of them now.

Honestly, what these two women need is someone who is very certain about them and someone who can match their pace. Unfortunately, as long as Woo Yeol still doesn't come around, I don't see an endgame result with him and any of these other two ladies. Which is why the new female catfish is a great addition to this show. She came exactly at the right time and surprisingly she is someone who is at the same level as Woo Yeol. Although they have a strong compatibility based on their date, I still think Woo Yeol has stronger feelings for one of the other two girls. He's interested in the new girl because she's different, but this is where my thoughts contradicts my other statement. Based solely on episode 5, excluding the preview for their Japan trip, I think his feelings are somewhat leaning towards Yu Gyeong more and he might seem unaware of it himself or he could be aware but still think it's too early to be certain.

My reason is not just about how he seems to look at or study Yu Gyeong's expressions or emotions. It's how he seems more active when he is with her. How he seems to want to spend more time with her, the carpooling scene was one of the evident reason and the movie too. It's the way he seems to always reach out to her more than Yu Gyeong ever realizes and more than he realizes. Another is during the kitchen scene when Yu Gyeong was making sweet potato desserts with Seongmin, he was clearly conscious of the two compared to Gyuri with Seowon. I just hope he comes around before it's too late.

I do see the potential between Gyuri and Seowon. I do find it quite cute how Gyuri's ideal type is Seowon but I am still not jumping into their ship as I still feel she has stronger feelings for Wooyeol. She might only be getting to know Seowon for the meantime but if Wooyeol ever reaches out to her, I think she'd definitely go all in for Wooyeol. On the other hand, Seowon turned out to now officially be my only favorite among the guys. He turned out better than what I had expected. He also seems more mature and that perfect type of guy to date beyond just his undeniably handsome visuals. He is exactly that type of guy who can give you certainty and security. A complete opposite of Wooyeol.

Now i'm curious to what happens in their Japan trip. I must say this recent episode finally heightened, things are now atlas progressing which makes me eager to look forward to this show. Waiting to see what happens between Woo Yeol and Yu Gyeong, Seowon and Gyuri, but most of his date with Min Ju too.

Title Perfect Crown Spoiler
What if the Prime Minister was a villain from the very beginning…We know his father was a good Prime Minister…
Your first theory about the Prime Minister sounds plausible. I had been having this inkling feeling that his bad actions weren't merely for his love towards Hui Ju alone but, something more beneath the surface, which the writer purposely hid and disguised as his mere obsession.

However, I thought his hatred wasn't directed to Lord Inpyeong but, more of towards Grand Prince Yian's family, specifically the previous king (Yian's father). Which is why the Prime Minister resents the crown because he doesn't want to be a 'loyal subject' like his deceased father who possibly died an unjustifiable death. This could also be another reason why he is driven to join hands with Lord Inpyeong and kill Grand Prince Yian.

As for your second theory, I doubt the Queen Mother's hidden trump card is Hui Ju's biological mother. It sounds more possible if it was Areum the maid in the Prince's private residence as she was the one who was responsible for poisoning Hui Ju. The Queen Mother could use that girl as her saving grace and gain Grand Prince Yian's mercy when Lord Inpyeong gets caught for his evil deeds.

I haven’t commented much lately, but these past two episodes have truly been an emotional roller coaster, though I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. One of the aspects I appreciate most about this drama is how rarely things unfold exactly as they initially appear. There is always another layer beneath the surface, which keeps the story compelling and refreshingly unpredictable. That sense of uncertainty makes every revelation and emotional turn feel even more impactful.

Title Heart Signal Season 5 Spoiler
I don't know what you like about this season, so far it's only irritating because of Woo Yeol, people came here…
I knew from the start that Woo Yeol is a red-flag basing on the first episode with his interactions between the two girls. He is really well experienced. What I like about this season is how unpredictable it is, unlike last season. Also, despite the fact that the 'pretty popular girl' is still given the center of the story, unlike other season where the only focus was on that participant, this season atleast we are getting more focus on other girls like Gyuri for example. Idk it just feels better for me because I didn't like Minkyu and the popular girl last season plus the coffee guy. I was so frustrated for Jimin and Joomi.

This season is unexpectedly far more interesting than the previous season. Woo Yeol seems too calculating in my opinion. It's like he has pre-planned every move because he is just too smooth like he doesn't have a single slip up unlike the remaining men. I think he'd likely end up alone by the end of all this because playing with fire could end in a backfire.

Seowon on the other hand is the complete polar opposite of Woo Yeol, he is too relaxed. I did think he was interested at some point with Min Ju but since they barely interact much and there's no reciprocating response from the other party, i'd get if he is curious about Gyuri ; only woman left he has yet to know about. The remaining men sadly don't pique my interest that much.

The recent episode made me feel sorry for both Yugyeong and Minju as both of them are the type to easily fall hard and trust the other person they like. The only difference in their situation is that Yu Gyeong's signals get reciprocated at one point but then that reciprocation disappears before she even knew it, while for Min Ju, her signals were never reciprocated. I hope both these girls try to open their heart to other men who only have eyes set on them.
