Truly this drama has so much depth to it and has woven intricate details seamlessly that even through subtle acts…
this is the very reason why I have refrained from watching any dramas ever since TFF ended I haven't picked up anything yet, I have been rewatching instead and told myself I will only pick up another drama once I am sure I will not have any bias to carry with me haha

You and me both saw this drama as different forms of creative artwork✨ which it is indeed.

This is exactly why in my review I wrote the title as 'A poetically crafted story that deeply captured the essence of an unconditional love and engraved it as a lasting imprint' but it's too long so I had to reduce it hahaha. TFF felt so much like a poem for me that no matter how many times I re-read it, I always find a new meaning and perspective.

So I read the web novel and I can understand why many of the fans of the novel disliked the drama. The Hong Kong…
Drama adaptations won't and will never be a hundred percent exact copy of the novel, there will always be changes bound to happen. I personally think that some of the changes they had made in the drama added more depth to the story, specifically the Hong Kong plot - I found it significant how Sang Yan pieced together Wen Yifan's past, he saw through her deepest scars and this made him realize how little he knows about his loved one ; on the other hand, this certain arc made Wen Yifan realize and learn to finally remove the mask she has long been wearing and allow the person whom she loved most to see the real her whom she had kept hidden. It allowed growth and realization for both these characters without having to downplay what they had been through.

this drama showed me that cdramas also have potential to envoke such strong emotions.
Truly this drama has so much depth to it and has woven intricate details seamlessly that even through subtle acts or words there can be so many profound meanings. What I loved even more is how it not only depicted a sentimental setting but made these feelings very palpable as well.

WY always had feelings for SY from the start but due to her surroundings and events swirling around her, she didn't…
Right. I wish more people tried to understand her. Both their love has always been equal.

I share the same thoughts as you, I always thought Yifan had feelings for Sang Yan since they were in high school there were many subtle hints that indicated it, however, because of what had happened to her, she had to suppress her feelings and their separation that rainy night in Beiyu was her trying to set her love free because she doesn't want to taint the beauty of it. Wen Yifan had always regarded Sang Yan as someone so precious and valuable that she wants to protect his shine and only give him the best of the world.

just want to say for those people who are looking for Sang Yan in their life.. remember he was arrogant and self…
Just as how much Sang Yan played an important role in Yifan's life, Wen Yifan had also done the same for Sang Yan. I agree, his growth and what helped shaped him is also because of Wen Yifan. You and I share the same views, I also don't believe that he is not realistic, it's possible for a person to have some of the qualities that he embodies it just lies to ones willingness and persistence.

genuine question: has anybody saw his upper teeth?I also think that wearing shoes inside is disgusting.Kinda getting…
Yes, when he smiles. They didn't wear their shoes inside their house, they have a specific built-in area for their shoes and usually that is where they wear shoes and change to slippers not all over the house. This type of thing is common in some asian countries sorry if it's disgusting to you but this is normal for us and there's nothing disgusting about it. I think his character rather comes off a bit cold-ish in the early episodes as he keeps his cool, however, I don't think it is anything "expressionless". Bai Jingting's micro expressions were very evident throughout the whole drama run, he was even praised by cnetz for his performance here as Sang Yan especially during the emotional scenes. He is one of the very few actors I know who can cry realistically.

The last two episodes of this drama (ep. 31 & 32) are truly great! With so many dramas (even good ones) forcing…
I couldn't agree more with you, the ending conclusion of a story is important as well, these days many directors/writers disregard this aspect but am glad this drama managed to be different and gave us this impactful and satisfying ending 🩡

They can edit all they want clearly shows how they are the type to blow things out of proportion and can't take disagreements. It's showing their hypocrisy as they are doing the same thing.

Yeah they blew things out of proportion with their excessive claims and what's worst is that they blatantly generalized others.

I figured. There's a defining line between bullying and disagreements it's crazy how that "line" suddenly became invisible over a mere disagreement. Also, we all know the hate TFF has been receiving these days (actually even way before) from 'toxic' fans of other dramas, so it's not like the conversation me and the user had earlier was something out of this world, doesn't even come close to bullying but yeah some people sure do love to twist stuff.

I get it you can't take disagreements and that's okay. This site is an open discussion forum. People are bound to agree or disagree this is very normal. You can go check every drama's comment section and you will see this is normal. This is what MDL was made for. So no need to act like this is something "new" and out of the world. Right now you honestly sound like you have strong prejudice against people who watch and loves this drama because look at how you are blowing things out of proportion again over a disagreement that none of these users even had with you. You act like this is the only page that does things abnormally, I have been an MDL user since 2019 and have engaged in countless of discussions be it for agreements or disagreements. This is the first time I am seeing someone twist things this much and call "disagreements" as aggression and bullying and having no moral grounds. Like I said in my previous statement, if you can't handle disagreements and have this mindset that disagreements equate to bullying, attacking and aggression etc. you better not put yourself in place that is bound for such disagreements in the first place.
