I am about to start my rewatch today. It seems the 2nd time around will make it more harder to let go of them. I get you. When I end a drama, I can usually pick up another one right away but it's almost a week since TFF ended and I barely picked up any. We are suffering together indeed.

I share the same sentiments with you. It's almost a week now since TFF has ended and I just feel so empty with no energy to watch anything else. You are right, the finale episodes were really something else, it was something that we didn't get to see in so many years of dramas. I am the same, I forgot I was watching this drama, I was so immersed in it too that I forgot what life was before TFF. The emotions on the last scene were just so raw and that last flashback was everything. I don't think anyone can surpass him too, he is now no.1 male lead character for me. I think this is why it is harder to move on from TFF because they didn't only made us watch a drama, but made us experience and feel every single moment in it. I miss them too! Time for rewatch 😭

It was the opposite for me, this was my least anticipated drama although I had it on my ptw list but I was prioritizing another modern romance genre drama which stars my fave actor over this. Since it got released first I thought I might as well dive in as I am not a binge watcher, I came into this without any expectation or idea what I was getting myself into because I haven't even read the novel. You're lucky to have been able to experience all that fun, there's always something memorable about waiting. I was only able to indulge myself into this experience for 3 weeks. I still remember everything too but I miss them so badly. I will surely be diving into the novel soon, then rewatch this again to see how different it would feel.

I understand your reaction as I am also someone who came into this drama without fully knowing what it would actually bring. The earlier episodes are indeed triggering as it portrayed reality but don't worry as it will eventually lighten up in future episodes, the fluff you are looking for will definitely be worth the wait. The romance between the leads are more of slowburn but this one will keep you up your toes because of how they portrayed "yearning" really well that the development between the leads relationship is very satisfying. I agree with you on this, Bai Jing Ting is definitely meant for this role because this version of Sang Yan has more layers in him compared to the Sang Yan in HL.

I honestly believe that no drama is ever perfect, there is no perfection in the world. Everything crafted by humans will eventually end up with some flaws because as beings we are flawed as well. This applies to drama rating, giving it a 10 doesn't necessarily mean that it is truly perfect, but the fact that people still rated it a 10 despite its flaws shows that this drama has manage to create an impact that its flaws is something that can be considered minor as at the end of the day it didn't totally ruin the overall impact of the drama. Anyway, just a thought but I agree with you at some point.
