I suggest you give this drama a chance. It definitely has its good points. This drama is a tale about different couples with a mixture of familial bond in it which revolves around Madam Li's five gorgeous daughters. Each couple presented brings out different relationship dynamics that will leave you feeling different types of reactions. You might either love or dislike a couples dynamic depending on your taste. Contrary to the word perfect in the title, the characters in this drama are flawed and complex. However, it is worth waiting for their character development and seeing full detail of a story. You can find these traits you are looking for through these couples. So far this drama has been both an enjoyable and heartwarming watch. Other than the romance aspect, you will come to love the sisterhood between the Li daughters and brotherhood between Son In Laws. At the same time, the female lead characters are really well-written. You will admire them for their ability to overcome any circumstances that comes their way despite how unprivileged they are during those times.

That's unfortunate. I am planning to watch VoS actually but sighs what did we even expect when it is GJM. Honestly wish CDL breaks away from him, she's too good for his dramas. Yes thankfully they escaped, I fear it will be hard for Rui to do that since he just established his career as an artist, plus GJM favors him a lot. I doubt he'd be able to escape in GJM grasps. If older artist have it hard to leave a company, what more for newer artist.

Yes, he overworks his ace talents. Look at Bai Lu. She has restrictions when it comes to the projects she wants to work on. Yu Zheng picks the scripts for her. The others are probably going through the same thing. It is good but at the same time unhealthy, not to forget how bad YZ treats his artist.

Right. They honestly went overboard with the ending, it could have been concluded in a much better way considering all the things they had gone through and they should have left xiao heng's best men alone. They didn't deserve that ending.

I share the same sentiments with you about the ending, that hindered me from rating the drama a perfect score, regardless it is still a great drama! true 😂 atleast here even Wen Ji is alive!

I doubt it too but I still wish for it to happen. I can't stand Yu Zheng. True but i'm pretty sure he has WXY on chokehold, as WXY has been gaining popularity and recognition throughout these years. It's sad they'll have to endure working under YZ.

I want Bai Lu and WXY to leave his company. He's lucky to have brilliant talents in his agency but sighs he treats them bad.

I am recently catching up with the latest episodes today and I can't help but be surprised whenever a new character appears and they would look so familiar to me but I couldn't recall, then when I do some background checking on these actors I get surprised by the revelation that they were in The Double 😂 can't help but laugh over the certain twists! true I am loving it too 🫶~ well we should already consider it as a parallel universe where Shen Yurong and Xiao Heng have brotherhood hahahaha

I realized it late, Qing Shi is actually Wen Ji from the double, he went from becoming Xiao Heng's subordinate to being Shen Yurongs subordinate 😂 so many the double cast here!

their playful banters and flirty remarks were engaging and definitely there is evident chemistry through those little scenes but yeah GJM didn't capitalize this aspect much, imagine the lost potential.

Same here, yes they share the same vibe and are both witty on their own way but smart too, although I would much prefer them to collaborate on a costume drama this time since they already did a modern one.
