I think He Wei Fang and Sheng Yi are both in the wrong here. I know everyone's hating on Sheng Yi here but ignoring Mudan's faults. Everytime a woman joins the business, He Wei Fang tries to force her way of living independently on them. When Sheng Yi wanted to find someone in general, not just Wang Qing, He Wei Fang said that it's not necessary to marry and that the only person you can depend on in life is yourself. It seems Mudan is projecting her life experiences onto Sheng Yi. But not everyone wants the lifestyle that she has, I recognize some controlling tendencies in Mudan though it might be unconsciously.
