You are right, don’t let anyone silence you. There has been a dramatic shift in some cdrama actresses like Yang Zi and Zhao Lusi. They are wanting to take on more serious, less idol roles so they can be more respected in the industry. Everyone has to grow at some point though, but for us who enjoyed the cute, laughable rom com dramas they used to make, it can be disappointing.
