The producers, writers, whatever of this show don't act like they really want these guys to find someone. This season was frustrating. I understand that something happened and they were forced to reshoot with only two new guys joining them, but I think it would have been better to mix them up between the next two years. Everyone knew everyone else except for the 2 new ones. And then there was that awkward pair from the first filming. I felt like Lee Hyeong Jun only changed his mind and went on the 2nd show because--either he was paid to do it so there would be drama, or he wanted Park to suffer. And because Park was obviously going to pursue him again, he wound up eliminated because no one else went after him. And what's with the eliminations, anyway? Elminations on a dating show? Give them a chance! Two of the guys who oringinally shared a bedroom--Kim Su Min, who didn't wind up with anyone, and Lee Heok Jin, who was eliminated appear to have gotten together since the show aired. Out of all the things I didn't like about this season, the eliminations were the biggest thing. I wish they would consider beginning the show with some of the "everyone together" activities like bbq and pool fun so people can get to know each other rather than these cringey dates. Nobody has any fun until the end. Pretty sure the two "couples" at the end broke up, too. I guess 8 days just isn't enough time to build a possible relationship, especially when no one has time to try a date with each person.
I think these two have great chemistry. I've read the book, and the actors are just perfect for the parts. I was glad a few of the really over-the-top things were taken out. The book was a lot, and they couldn't have it all anyway.
I thought this series was cringy at first, the way Duang was so persistent and kept putting himself out there when Qinn didn't seem interested at all. But I soon began to love it! It's really cute and sweet.
Absolutely adorable couple. More care should have been taken to explain the situation with all the wives, though, as well as the passage of time. Confusing.
Phoon and Fah were a great couple. I really wish the director and screenwriter had done a better job explaining things and showing the passage of time, though. I was so confused, I had to find someone who had read the book to explain to me what was going on.
I took it to be one of many disorders of sex development that exist. The person can be described as 'intersex'.…
Thank you, Tiny Mouse, for both the information and letting me know that the word I used is considered inappropriate. I will remember to use "intersex" in the future. It was not my intention to be discourteous. Having read what you sent and researched further, I now believe it is more likely that the character had something such as 5-alpha-reductase deficiency, which would present them as a female initially and then change closer to puberty. (Rather than the one you mention that presents more as male at first.)
I love these actors, which is why I'm watching this, but I've just watched almost three hours of constant second-hand embarrassment, and I'm not sure how much more I can take!
You Shu Lang found out that it was Fan Xiao who had assaulted him. In episode 9, he asked Bai Ting to get Bai…
I just did and was coming back to tell you. I don't know how I missed it. I know I read that part, but I must not have absorbed the full meaning. I also went and rewatched part of the scene where he beat XF up, and, clearly, he points out that XF said before that YSL needed revenge. *smacks forehead* Thanks for your answer! I am happy YSL knew every transgression so he could truly heal.
I don't even mind that they got back together. I just think the last episode was very anticlimactic and overall…
Yes, I agree about the rain scene. And someone said he did find out in ep 9, so I went back and watched the conversation with Bae and the later beating again. I have no idea how I missed that!
I literally JUST finished the series - binge watcher partner! - and I sort of get what you mean. The entire time…
I just finished it, too. I've asked a few times above, hoping to get an answer--am I right that YSL never found out FX was the one who molested him? In the scene with Bao, he still thought Bao had done it, and Bao didn't correct him. I'm shocked no one else has mentioned this that I can find.
