Trailer was so good I ended up reading and finishing the novel. Hopefully, they changed the LN's personality a little bit in the drama because his novel character was not it
do you remember who Han Liao is?? Just curious since it's been a long time since DGZ has been in a historical!
I had to go through memory lane to remember him, but from what I remember, he was a creep. He was described as someone lustful. I forgot his age but I would said he was in his mid to late 20s. He had a bunch of concubines and kids but still wanted to marry WR. WR didn't spare him a glance. He couldn't have WR so he ended up marrying WR's cousin (because WR and her cousin look very similar, so much so that people said they look like twins/sisters). HL treated WR's sister like crap and was controlling. They later ended up getting a divorce.
Okay, someone who has read the novel please tell me if my man Wang Duo is going to be a villain or in love with…
He only showed up 3 times with FL after they became adult.
1. When he and FL met again 2. When he and FL went out to catch up 3. At the airport, when he said bye to FL
I hoped they wouldn't change his character too much in the drama since I quite like him in the novel. He wasn't a villain, but just that he and ML were put into unfortunate circumstances.
Wdym 1 person?in novel fml had split personality or what?
No, I should have clarified, in the novel, WR was one person, one personality. While in the drama, the name WR is shared between two people - the real WR and the FL, who takes over her name to marry the ML.
WR in the novel was really strong-headed. She met the ML a few times but didn't really like him. When he was in a coma, she still chose to marry him because she had a really good reason to.
Making someone take over WR's identity to marry ML kind of defeats the purpose of her reason for marrying him in the novel. But since the drama has already changed a lot of the plot, I just hope they play their cards right and give us a really good reason for FL to take over WR's identity and marry ML.
Kind of sad that they made WR two people in the drama since I liked her (as 1 person) in the book. Hopefully, they keep most of her personalities and remain true to her character
go watch ski into love or love scenery maybe you'll change ur mind!!
I watched derailment. I actually had really high hopes for it but I wasn't really impressed. We'll see. I thought the trailer was alright, I hope LY doesn't let me down
I hear a lot of complaining about the novel and how the fl is just a spoiled brat, as a novel reader I loved fl's…
What? Who is saying this? I loved her character in the novel. I definitely agree, the fact that she was spoiled and loved was what made her character so refreshing. She is just a rich, materialistic girl living her best life. Damn if I was rich too I wouldn't do much either. And on top of that she got a rich husband that spoils her rotten..? Lol say less

I have watched love scenery and am not a big fan of Ester to watch Ski into Love. I have seen a few of LY's previous works, and I am having a hard time picturing him as FSZ. LY gives me very boy next door vibe and not the quiet, stubborn, cold spoken quality that is FSZ. I trust the casting team, so I will still give this a chance when it airs, lol whenever that is.
Glad I wasn't the only one who thought about it. Like they in the rush to edit it.
OMG it felt really rush and cheap. There were multiple scenes where the camera was shaking. Like bruhh this is supposed to be a serious scene but the camera was shaking so much I couldn't focus.

Thank goodness you guys noticed it too. Lol I barely see anyone mentioning it, but yes, super disappointed. It seems like an amateur took over because it was nothing like what we were getting in the other episodes.
what’s the second lead story line in this do you know? guessing it’s the third and fourth characters listed?
There were a few couples in the book. Not sure if they will change it for the drama though:
YL & FSZ (main). FZC & TL (ML's nephew and FL's roommate ) YY & YYY (FL's younger brother and his deskmate)
But we only see the side couples here and there. Mainly, they only show up when the main characters are present or else we told about them but we don't actually see them.
Side characters are fine, but in this novel specifically, both main leads had a lot of insecurities. I just hope the director focuses on that. Their past really shaped the main characters to be who they are and heavily impacted their relationship.
I loved First Frost but damn, was I fast-forwarding all the scenes of the second couples. When the second couple becomes fillers just for screen time, that's a problem for me. They should be there to add to the story, not to drag it.
I hope they don't drag the Second Lead's story line like they did in the first frost. The book is so good because it focuses on the main couple's story line with glimpses into the other couples.
