I hate when a character dies and they play flashback scenes to show that the other character is reminiscing about their death in the story. But all the scenes they use are scenes they took from the drama from past episodes. Instead of showing scenes that we haven't seen before, I hate when they do this I feel like it's so poorly executed.

I heard the male lead in the drama is a red flag if that is true how bad is it?

It's not really a new trend Chinese dramas are catering to women since women are the main audience to Chinese dramas so of course Chinese dramas would cater to women

Right now Li Mao acts kind of innocent and unfit for the position. However, I feel like later on he is going to be power-corrupt. He is going to be doing a 180, acting completely different. I sense that he's going to betray the female lead and male lead in the future.

I see why there would be discourse about the age gap and I understand why people find it weird I also find it a bit weird but I saw this coming, and I think most fans also saw this coming because she was also in my journey to you coupled up with a man who was of similar age to Hou Ming Hao, and I know there was no physical romance between them, but it was still implied in the story that they were in a romantic relationship, and I think the reason why most people find this uncomfortable now is because she's the fl instead of a side character.
