Sorry to rain on your parade guys, but... When was the last time a K drama stayed consistently good from the first to the last episode? This first episode hype "the best drama ever" has been heard so many times before only to be met with disappointment 5 or 10 episodes later ("Our Universe"? Anyone?) when the plot veers off course into nonsense territory! We'll see in a few weeks if they manage to keep it up! I hope so, it would be a nice change....

The ending as I understand it: when J made a wish on his 31st birthday he got to go back and redo the past and in doing so, save Jinn and his mother. The dreams he was having were actually his memories of his original life telling him what needed to be fixed!

I don't analyse kisses either but it struck me, the end of ep 4, the kisses between "young" and "older" couple are different showing how much they changed in 10 years. nice touch! But from episode 7/8 things are starting to get draggy with the overuse of "noble idiocy" trope, "I'm not telling you for your own good!" which is the stupidest thing ever.... The ending?
Horrible, generic music! Unwatchable! I've started it 4 or 5 times already but the music accompanying the opening make out scene is just so awful! That is the score we've already heard in every low budget korean series! I guess that SUKFilms do not have the money in their restrained budget for a better score.

It is not how big is the budget, it is how creative you are. This short drama, now in correct format, is the proof. I need more of them. I was blown away by this couple in the vertical drama but now...100 times better! It is not perfect, far from it but definitely better than the majority of KBLs.

Surprisingly I loved it. I almost dropped it after 20 min. Thee being OTT was a bit too much for me. Eventually, I found it funny. And the singing and dancing, musical number was brilliant! On the other hand, there is something I could never find between Pond and Phuwin: chemistry!

Oh yes! I am loving it. Thee is still making me cringe a little bit (just like every mafia story out there) but he is so adorable in his cluelessness about real people's lives that he's irresistible. And Phuwin has grown so much as an actor and as aperson! I am now off to watch episode 5. And I'll probably finish it today! Thank you again for the great review: otherwise I would have missed a true gem!
