Mixed Feelings

I have watched a lot of dramas over my life time, and Cheese In the Trap was the most... peculiar one yet.
To this day, I do not completely understand the ending or completely satisfied with the ending either because there was MAJOR second-lead syndrome through the drama. If you ask all of the viewers of this drama, at least 70% will agree that the second lead, Seo Kang-joon was DEFINITELY better for the main female lead, Kim Go-eun.
Putting that aside, the story overall was cute, sometimes a little confusing on what the main male lead is thinking about and to this day, I am still having second-thoughts on whether or not the main male lead, Park Hae-jin, really liked Kim Go-eun :\\\ But the cute awkward moments between them were adorable and the moments when Park Hae-jin and Kang-joon would protect Kim Go-eun were the classic "damsel in distress", but still made my heart flutter <3 :))
After Park Hae-jin and Kim Go-eun broke up and went their separate ways, it kind of left me at a loss. When the drama ended, I never completely understood what REALLY happened and what the read messages at the end really meant. But... oh well.
I did like how Seo Kang-joon and his sister, Lee Sung-kyung, came together and Kang-joon was able to make his dreams come true of playing the piano.
The first part was very mysterious and it pulled me in on who each of these characters are, especially Park Hae-jin. Then during the last part of the drama, it kind of... dragged? I could say? I don't know for sure.
What I DO know for sure is that: SEO KANG-JOON DESERVED KIM GO-EUN!!! I realllyyyy wanted them to be together because they are PERFECT for each other, but I guess Park Hae-jin's okay :\\\
I did rewatch this drama multiple times since the plot wasn't very memorable and I wasn't able to remember every single plot line.
OVERALL: I would recommend the dramas to only specific people, but to the ones who want a sturdy plot, I think it's best to stay away from this drama, or just watch quick clips of it :)

Cute & Light

This drama isn’t something that has so many twists and turns and keeps you on your seat.
It’s a very light and cute drama that had mini lessons in the middle. Kind of like a slice of life.
Were there cringey/awkward moments? Of course! It’s a romance drama after all, but that’s what made this drama adorable.
This drama just featured a daily couple’s life with a tiny twist to it.
The story’s smooth and isn’t very rocky and the romance is ADORABLE.
There is slight talk of s*x and sexual activity, but it’s all covered up. The kissing scenes tell you how single you are in like 24 different languages and they are cute!
I would recommend this drama to many people, especially if they wanna take a break from suspense or steamy dramas ^^
There are pieces of comedy that tie this drama up and the male and female lead was amazing! They had great chem <333
I didn’t rate it a full 10 only for the reason that there are better romance dramas which I enjoyed better~

WOW

Of the 70+ dramas I have watched, "Mr. Sunshine" was one of the BEST!! The story, acting, cinematography, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect!
I did hear some complaints on how the history was showcased throughout the drama. Some also stated that the drama, Mr. Sunshine, showed a lot of bias. In other words, I guess the storyline showed Korea as the "very good guy" and Japan as the "very bad guy". But, I never really liked learning about history, so I thought that the story was amazing and beautiful!!
In regards to romance, there's no steamy romance with a lot of physical contact, I guess one can say. The hugs, eye contact, smiles, between the Lee Byung-hun and Kim Tae-ri were so sweet and anyone could tell that their characters loved each other. Other than the romance between the mains, the bromance was reallyyyy funny! Yoo Yeon-seok, Lee Byung-hun, and Byun Yo-han showed a lot of comical scenes together that always lightened up the mood. To this day, I still search up these three characters on YouTube just to see the scenes they acted out together ^^
Lastly, the cinematography!! The scenes were ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I would like you to go on Safari, YouTube, or Google and search up "Mr. Sunshine Scenes" and click on images. They are very beautiful~~
I guess one small complaint I have is the cast... and I know that multiple people do agree with me and others don't.
------------ Lee Byung-hun was just... too old, I honestly believe that someone younger should've been casted-------------
I too know that other people do not think the same as me and believe that "age doesn't matter". I respect that opinion, but... I'm just sorry, the chemistry between the mains kind of got ruined (just a lil) because of the HUGE age gap (20-years people). But I didn't hate it. The acting from both characters were AWESOMEEEEEE still. I heard that if there really were kiss scenes between Lee Byung-hun and Kim Tae-ri, people would've had an uproar about it ^^
OVERALL, the story PERFECT, the acting AMAZING, the cast ALMOST COMPLETE (I just still wish there was someone at least a lilll younger - Hyun Bin - would've been fine tho) that's why I couldn't give a FULL 10/10, but still... WATCH IT
I ABSOLUTELY recommend to watch this drama! You will NEVER regret it~~
