perfect

oh, no one understand how happy i am when i found this drama.

as an aroace myself, i'm really happy that we got a drama focusing on TWO aroace main characters. i found myself relating a lot to both of the characters in certain extent. this is why representation matter, to let people know that they're not alone in their journey. that they are not weird for not feeling the same way as most people do.

i love following the character journey from the first until last episode. sakuko's journey in understanding and accepting herself, especially, left the most impression for me

some parts in this drama is a little bit hard to watch. explaining your sexuality to people who are used to see romance in everything is very difficult, not to mention how to handle their reaction. because, obviously, not everyone can accept it right away. questions, disbelief, and "you just havent met the right person" are usually the common reaction and we can see that in this drama as well which is why it's a bit hard to watch, but at the same time, is really important to highlight.

there are moments where i got annoyed with some of the side characters here, but i guess it adds the realistic part in drama. people are not perfect: they make mistake, they might say something that can hurt you, they will not understand you right away.

also, can i just say that this drama make me longing for my own non-romantic family? i can relate a lot to the two characters' fear of loneliness. watching this drama makes me crave for my own best life lmao

all in all, this drama is amazing. my main highlight in this review is the representation, but other aspects in this drama are also really perfect. both actors did really well, i enjoy listening to the ost, the story is also good.

a show you cant forget

the first time i picked up this drama, i didnt think i'd be this obsessed lmao but i did (still do to be honest). while waiting for new episode to drop, i found myself rewatching the episodes that were already released. it is really that good.

i always love office romance and age-gap story where the main characters meet when they are both adults. this drama provide both of them perfectly.i love the character development from being a bored adult to someone who enjoy their adulthood, showing us that adults are allowed to try new things, to fall in love, and to experience life the way teenagers do.

dont even get me started on the romance. it's just perfect. the confession scene is my most favorite, i almost tearing up when i watch it. their kissing scene is also one that we will never forget.the acting is also really good. their chemistry is amazing. we can all feel the longing from both characters. the actors had done a really good job.

all in all, it's amazing. one you cant forget.

ruin my life in the best way possible

i just want to scream to the world to fucking watch this. the original drama is already amazing, but the director's cut is even much better (if that even possible)

the relationship between main leads are so adorable!! i love how we get to see their progress from being complete strangers meeting in the street to being lovers and as they get older, the more complicated the conflict, and i love how we get to see each of them.

this drama offer us fluffy stories, but also shows us the internal struggle queer people need to face. i found myself crying in some scenes because i relate with the struggle a lot.

the ending is perfect. one that makes me want to jump off the cliff. and i said this as a compliment.

some other parts i want to comment:
(+) perfect casting. the actors did a very amazing job
(+) perfect soundtrack

heart wrenching

if i'm gonna be honest, a lot of k-bl drama that i watched ended up being a disappointment for me. but this one is just perfect.

this drama got me hooked from the start. it's childhood-friends to lovers type thing but one of them is bodyguard for the other. you can feel the pining and yearning. it's heart-wrenching and heart-fluttering at the same time.

however, i feel a bit put-off by the ending.

i want more. i need more. i need to know what happens to them after the ending. it feel like the writer leave us hanging.
