"it's ordinary, but happy."
It's nothing you've never seen in dramas before. This drama is simply a hoard of classic drama tropes: competent rich man (who is self made, but rich nonetheless) falling in love with your very ordinary girl, asks her to get married because he's been devotedly in love with the girl who is his highschool crush. It's dejavu all around for you audience!YET, this drama doesn't waste time focusing on those tropes. Those tropes are just garnish to the real story: tu xiaoning and ji yuheng navigating their life together as an instant married couple. They stroll along the conflicts, resolved it without the usual heap of misunderstanding(tm) you often see in asian dramas. Yes, the conflicts end with satisfying result for our characters, but at least it shows them persevere (with very slight blood, sweat and tears) to reach it.
The second and third leading couples are also fun to watch to the point they ALMOST overshadow the 'ordinary' story of the leads.
It's a good comfort watch. Even audience with zero patience like me want to get through till the end (in 3x speed, that is). I recommend binging it in one day.

more members, less fun (unfortunately)
This season definitely has different vibes with the previous one. It feels more of a game show rather than healing trip like in the third season. There are more EXO members joining after they finished their military duty. The games and ladders prepared by the staffs are also various and more complicated. However, this season feels lacking compared to the previous ones. It might have to do with the pacing for the survival game that feels a bit lacklustre. Or the ending of the overnight mission that does not feel balanced with the effort the members put and create disappointing ending for the audience. There are also less moments when the members are working together or simply being together yet we know from the previous episodes that those moments are the ones that make the show enjoyable.Doesn't make it not worth watching though! It still fun to watch, just don't compare it to previous seasons.

if I were zhao jinmai or wu lei, I'd walk out of the set wondering what we are lol
I mean... the skinship! the chemistry! the gazes! the smiles! yes, it was that good! No complain for the acting department, really.HOWEVER, that's probably the only good thing from this drama. Everything else is just your classic sport cdrama . It's upsetting that the drama set up has so many potentials to explore (I mean, come on.. the leads class difference, the different approach to intimacy, anyone?), yet they just stuck with the usual. Replace any element of this story with any element from any MBFB adaptations and it will annoyingly work.

after all, to err is human.
Definitely a breath of fresh air in a very saturated Cdramas world. Also one of the best I've watched in a long time. It's not very often for cdramas (and asian dramas in general, really) to capture the bad side of humanity and presented it as redeemable. Many dramas tend to have characters in opposite extremes of evil vs good spectrum with no place anywhere in between. This drama does not shy away from that. The main character made a mistake, realized it too late, and painstakingly tried to correct her mistakes when she got the chance. The story is very well paced with clear plot. None of the characters are 2 dimensional. Overall very engaging to watch till the end.
