Exactly, if she truly cared beyond her own delusions she wouldn’t actively hurt him. It’s really just her being possessive over him because she’s known him for so long.

I’d say ZD is more possessive over him than actually in love with him. It seems she has had it in her head since she was little that they will end up together due to their families. It also seems he has never given her the idea that they will end up together? I’m not entirely sure on that one but that’s my POV. ZD is just mad jealous and possessive at this point and I don’t think she really cares about him genuinely but the idea of them being this power couple etc.
