I just finished watching all the episodes and I'm so confused at the low ratings. Even if you're not into dating shows, the beautiful and luscious scenery of Nice will capture you and draw you in. All of the contestants felt like down to earth, genuine people and they were so beautiful in their own ways. I love how we can see that each contestant has flaws but that just makes them so much more real. Lots of dating shows these days feature low tier celebrities who just want to become famous. Offline Love was such a breath of fresh air. Just like Terrace House, this is not just a story about love, but about friendship, about destiny and fate and about growth. Honestly, I loved this so much I'm hoping we'll get a season 2.
I'm so excited for a lighthearted and family centered drama. I feel like there's been too many dark themes in dramaland lately and my heart feels heavy. This will be a nice breath of fresh air π
Lately there have been too many Cdramas with really heavy topics about revenge. I look forward to this food themed drama. Hopefully it will be lighthearted and fun π
The first half of the drama was an absolute masterpiece. The chemistry between the leads was great! The second half of the drama I didn't enjoy so much because there was just too many politics and a lot of the screen time went to the antagonists scheming against our main couple. Despite some flaws, I'd say it's still one of the best Cdramas of 2024. I'm really looking forward to what this director does next.
I kept on putting this drama on hold and I regret it because itβs so good! Honestly, Iβm blown away at the high quality for a short Cdrama. The acting, the storyline, everything was spot on. I know not everyone will like the bittersweet ending but I loved it. I loved every moment of this and I definitely want to re-watch it sometime to catch all of the details that I missed.
I must say that I really enjoyed this cute and lighthearted drama. A lot of the Chinese mini dramas these days are super choppy and it feels like you're fast-forwarding through all the scenes and you miss out on a lot of information. This drama is pleasant to watch and the pacing is good too. I watched seasons 1-3 and I really enjoyed it =)
I love how this drama is breaking a lot of stereotypes about side characters in Cdramas. Like the Princess wasn't as bad as we thought she would be. At first, she seemed like a spoiled brat who gives "steal your man" type of vibes but it turned out that she just wanted to give her best shot at love. I still thought she was a bit annoying but still a huge improvement from the usual SFL characters. The Marquis though...I have a soft spot for him, he's such a cutiepie. He's like a golden retriever, he only has eyes for our FL and he is so honest, loyal and respectful. I was already tearing up but when he had that tantrum on the floor I burst out laughing π€£π€£ I can't wait for more sweet scenes between Ziqi an Miaomiao. I feel like they didn't get enough time together the past 2 episodes π₯²
I haven't even watched episode 18 yet and I'm already anxious about what's going to happen. Someone destroy the wooden bracelet soon please!! They deserve to be happy. I don't want them to go through so much suffering ππ
Yess! LBFAD is my favourite Xianxia of all time and I think as long as this drama doesn't give us a bad ending, this will become my second favourite Cdrama.
My guess is he is son of the strongest demon (The resentful woman) in this universe.
I haven't read the novel yet so this is just my speculation. But it makes sense because at the very beginning of the drama, society makes it seem like all demons are bad. But now that we're on episode 13, we know that yao and humans are the same, they can be good or bad. It's just that society has painted yao in a bad light to make it seem like all of them are evil. So if Zi Qi's mom is the resentful woman, she probably used to be kind and something horrible happened to her, which filled her with hatred and turned her into an evil person.
I just read an interesting take to Mu Sheng's personality, and I thought you guys might enjoy reading this! https://www.tumblr.com/extraordinarilyextreme/766354082726346752?source=share
Wow this was amazing and so detailed! Thanks for sharing =)
I'm honestly so impressed by Ding Yu Xi's acting. I've watched the Romance of Tiger and Rose and I remember his acting being good but his acting in here is phenomenal! I can tell he's improved over the past few years Also, Esther doesn't disappoint as well. Yes, her voice is cutesy and it can sound annoying to some people. But once you get past that, you can tell that she is also very immersed in her acting and she's perfect for this role. I can't imagine another actress doing this besides Esther. Definitely a great start to a wonderful drama!
I had no expectations going into this so I was pleasantly surprised! I know a lot of people don't like short dramas because they are "low quality", but I believe if you search hard enough you can find something that's good quality like this one. Honestly I loved the premise and the ML and FL had really natural acting and chemistry.
This drama felt like a train wreck ππ Like it was so bad but I couldn't look away. In some ways it was so bad that it was good. The chemistry between the leads was great but don't expect much when it comes to the plot.
