Had good potential - got disappointed

First, I have to say that I absolutely love Xing ZhaoLin and was so excited to see him again as a ML. Rich CEO characters just fit him so well. He has that kind of charisma if you get what I mean?
I was also curious to see that the FL was played by Liang Jie, who I had previously seen in Hi Venus ( yes, I know. Hi Venus came out after YAMD, but I watched it before ok..).

The first episodes — the begging really had me in tears. Pregnancy is a really sensitive subject for me, so everything about that had me feeling so many different emotions. Good and bad. The story was going well in my opinion. From the leads getting closer and getting to know each other more, to both families and friends getting along, and even to the third parties trying to get the leads.

The last episodes — The last 10 episodes were completely unnecessary in my opinion. Too much back and forth. Too much drama. Too much negativity to my liking.
In my opinion, the last episodes just killed the drama for me. They are also the reason why my rating is so low. I was really disappointed and hoped for a better ending, that in my opinion, was way to rushed.

One of the best dramas I’ve ever watched!

First of all, I have to say that this is not the type of dramas I usually watch. I am more into romance and friendship dramas. But, I am so glad I’ve watched it.

I discovered this drama because it was one of the top 10 most rated. I watched the trailer and I thought “this doesn’t look to bad. Why not try it and see if this is overrated”. Which I did. And if there is one thing I can say, it’s that this is extremely far for being overrated. Even that, in my opinion, 9.1 is underrated.

I loved how this drama truly showed the meaning behind “never judge a book by its cover”. You can see when HeYun and ShiQing are trying to find who brought the bomb and they thought about everyone, except the two people that looked less likely to be the culprits (which they ended up being).

I also loved how they made the two main characters grow their trust in eachother and there wasn’t too much romance. Which I think was perfect, because too much romance wouldn’t have made this drama the same.

I could say so many good things about this drama, but one last thing I’ll say, is that the ending made me cry. In my opinion, there couldn’t have been a better ending that the one we got. This was super heartwarming and the little moment between HeYun, ShiQing and Zhang Cheng kinda makes me wonder if the detective ended up believing them..

Anyway, I would 100% recommend watching it to anyone and am definitely doing to rewatch it in the future.

Brilliant. Beautiful. Loved the ost. Acting was on point. I have nothing bad to say about this drama!

Cliché, friendship, hockey

First, I just have to say how happy I was to know that Darren Chen was casted as the male lead! He fit perfectly his role and I am entirely happy with his performance!

Cliché, friendship, hockey — Usually the type of drama I prefer.

Everything about this drama is cliché. The male lead having a disease that only the female lead can cure. The female lead having lost a parent. The two best friends having a crush on the female lead, the female lead disguising as a guy… and so on! I could keep going for a whole paragraph about the clichés. But that’s actually how I like them.

Friendship, my absolute favourite theme of a drama. Seeing a group of friends sharing something they love, being there for each other, and getting to know a little about all of them. That is exactly what I like!

Hockey, well, this is no surprise coming from a Canadian! I looove hockey and I always enjoy dramas with hockey players.

But, I have to admit that I have some dislikes unfortunately. There was some times we could see that the female lead actually can’t skate, or that it was snowing one minute, than the next it stopped and magically there wasn’t any snow in the next scene.
There was some things that made me detach from the drama and that is not something I like.

So, yes, I liked the drama and I loved the ost! I loved to see the friendship between the characters and their love from with their significant others. But, some things that happened that didn’t add up unfortunately made this drama go down by a lot since this is something really important to me when I watch dramas; to not realize this is actually a drama.
