so true ppl are being a bit annoying. hes never told her he did a lot of the things he has done for her.

- He traveled to Yihe to see an "old friend" and it was her, she doesn't know that.
- He visited her fathers grave, she doesn't know that.
- He brought her chicken soup, he overheard her family being mean to her over the chicken soup in High School, she doesn't know that.
- He went back to her old apartment and beat up those guys, she doesn't know that.
- He never even told her he came back home for the Lantern Festival because of her.

All these things he did without her knowing and he never told her. hes very subtle and secretive in the actions he does for her.

his voice was shaky and he was trembling too <3

definitely not one sided, she has feelings for him she just thinks she doesnt deserve him or his love and shes way more subtle about her feelings compared to him.

i want to talk about how living with sang yan is probably the safest wen yifan has ever felt in her life up until now. she always had to live in fear for her safety and had nobody to lean on to help protect her. she felt safe enough to fall asleep on the couch next to him and i think thats beautifully telling.

it was a novel before it was a drama why is this hard to understand????????? it was adapted from the novel into a drama therefore its gonna follow much of the novel

i loved his hesitation he wanted to hold her back but he knew they werent there yet in their relationship
