because it’s the number 1 acting school, getting into CAD means you’re smart and you’ve got talent. so without…
Yess I feel like almost every alumni from CAD I come across has stellar acting skill like Zhang Zifeng, Jackson Yee, Zhao Jinmai, Hu xianxu, Li Landi, Liu Horan and Chen Xingxu.. while I find alumni from Beijing Dilm Academy a bit polarizing.. some has great acting skill yet some has super cheap traffic oriented acting skill just barely enough to make them idol actors… and I feel like most CAD actors choose serious actors route while those from BFA mostly become traffic stars/idol actors
Love her acting in Echoes of Gang city & realized that she’s been in many dramas before and I just didn’t realize her!! Her acting is really great & she’s a chameleon actor blending into every role without notice… She’s also from Central Academy of Drama?? Why are all students from Central academy of drama so great at acting?
Love both He Yu and Bao Shang En… They both would’ve make a great Shen Miao and Xie Jing Xing… what a pity😭 But, I’m looking forwards to this drama… the trailer looks promising and I also love the 2nd FL (the daughter character in Twelve letters, her acting is so natural yet so impactful)… I was afraid she would be the villain but in the trailer, she seems to be on good side… thank godss!
Love Zhang Rounan & Wang Anyu’s acting…. I also love the two 2nd leads as well… & given this is a drama from Someday or One day director who has not disappointed me so far (i also like Amidst the snowstorm of love), I’m really looking forwards to this
Same director as Someday or One Day ... altho that was a stellar cast and script. Wang Anyu isn't bad but I haven't…
U can check out her acting in clips from Be yourself (a coming of age drama about 4 college student) and Cry me a sad river (movie)… she used to be a film actress before acting in TV drama, so u can definitely trust her on this.. I’m looking forwards to this drama cuz both Wang anyu and Zhang ruonan are natural actors unlike the caricature-esque comedic cdrama actors & I also loveee the director: both in Someday or one day (favourite drama of all time) & amidst the snowstorm of love
Love love love her in Twelve Letters. Such natural acting skill yet able to pull off heavy emotional scenes very well…. I sobbed along with her tears in Twelve Letters.
I'm confused. I can't recognise DoWon oppa. He's too different from chief resident Koo DoWon to recognise. They…
For real. It’s a little bit too unrealistic and out of character that it somewhat took me out of the story. In hospital playlist, gyoeul is still the shy cold girl she always has been even when she is in a relationship with her long time crush and her greatest love, and took quite a while for her to open up and act more intimate. And even then, she still calls him professor. That’s so in line with her character. That sort of nuance is totally missing from this drama’s actors’ acting. Either it’s cuz of the actors failing to understand the characters they are supposed to play or the director failing to understand the characters and directing it to fit into the mold of the ‘perfect, fluffy, loveydovey, relationship’ that the characters become more of a caricature of lovesick people than real people in love.
I think Jae-Il is just being true to his character, who lacks confidence, so he follows those he thinks knows…
Plus, not only Sabi knew better than him, almost all 3 girls knew better than him. (Ofc, yi young might be on the same level as him since she is as not enthusiastic about the whole profession and had been away from the field for a long time) The drama fails to show any qualities of Sabi that makes jaeil seen her in a different light from other girls other than her resembling gyoeul and her being his hardcore fan
I think Jae-Il is just being true to his character, who lacks confidence, so he follows those he thinks knows…
What i mean is, so far, Jaeil has not seen Sabi in a special way, he treat all 3 of them the same. He wasn’t shown to be specifically impressed with Sabi’s intelligence either. So why now? Why only after he found out sabi is his fan. The only logical explanation is that he liked that he is liked by a colleague and knew he had a chance and thus went for it. Had it been yiyoung or namkyung in Sabi place, he would’ve done the same, from what we were shown.
Because there wasn’t any moments in the earlier episodes that highlighted Sabi’s uniqueness or any scenes that show how she differs from other girls in Jaeil eyes or how Jaeil, altho originally treating her as nothing more than a colleague/friend, end up falling for her (the real her, her uniqueness and personalities and empathy for the patients), the whole Jaeil suddenly liking Sabi feels so superficial and forced. From what we were shown in the drama, it’s almost as if Jaeil attraction to Sabi is solely based on Sabi resembling his first love, Gyoeul, and her being his fan when he is a fallen kpop idol — nothing about Sabi and who she stands for whatsoever.
Plus, it’s made so much worse that literally just one episode ago, Jaeil is still into his first love and the whole thing happened only after he knew he had no chance with his first love. Ughhh
I love the stories and the challenges residents are going through, but the love lines are just not giving. Hate that Jaeil is suddenly interested in Sabi just because he found out she’s his fan, not because he has seen her lovable qualities little by little. Also, the Dowon yiyoung love line is failing to capture my interest these days too, for reasons I can’t exactly point out (must be the rushed get together or maybe cuz the acting/directing lacks nuance Hospi playlist or reply series is famous for. I would rather have a drama with no love lines at all than have a drama with too rushed, unrealistic & “just-there-for-the-sake-of-being-there” love lines
I am... but now Tsung Jing Hua has grown-up looking. They are not similar like before
They don’t resemble each other that much for sure. The first time I saw He yu, I knew his eyes remind me of someone but couldn’t recall who it was (cuz it was not that obvious). At first I thought it was BTS Yoongi/Suga. It’s not until I rewatched Oh no here comes trouble that I finally knew it was Tseng Jing Hua who has the similar eye features
I discovered her in a mini drama “Love at second glance” and love her acting. Her acting is so natural, graceful and absolute joy to watch. Didn’t know she is also Wang Meng Meng in Reset!! And does any one think she resembles Shen Yu Jie from Only for love and Hard to find?? Or is it only me?
Yay Mai Mai got 2k hearts on mdl. I remember when I first started liking her she had around 800 hearts. I am glad…
Sameee…. I still remember checking her page after Reset and wanting more people to appreciate her acting skill and adding that bit in her bio about her ranking first in Entrance exam for Central academy of drama. Now she has gotten so much bigger and I couldn't be happier!!
