He is a red flag in other aspects tho. In the recent episode he told his parents he’a dating her because she’s…
Even if that is true, he is still not a green flag. He is not being honest with Zhitao and is using the fact that she’s drawn to him to make her forgive him each time they get into a fight. That’s not green flag behaviour and you can’t tell me otherwise. Also yes, red flags do get jealous and make puppy eyes at you, i can tell you that because i’ve seen it in real life. That’s their way of manipulating you into thinking they really care. I’m not saying Luan Nian is like that, but he’s also definitely not an angel.
Haven’t watched yet, but something tells that the rating is based on many kisses and soft porn….Wonder if…
They do have kisses and some intimate scenes but for me the ones i find the most intimate and filled wigh tension are the ones when they’re just close to each other and he’s staring intensely at her without even touching each other. It’s like you can cut the tension with a knife, soooo good😫
Never seen a red flag openly admitting that’s his girlfriend, never seen a red flag with eyes full of love and…
He is a red flag in other aspects tho. In the recent episode he told his parents he’a dating her because she’s „pleasant to look at” and that he isn’t dating for them to have a daughter in law but for him to just have a gf. Meaninf he’s not taking it seriously. Also he knows the effect he has on her. Again in the last episode when she said she meant it when she asked him to break up he hugged her and opened the window, even tho she’s sick, looked at her with those puppy eyes and she was down. He is sort of manipulating her. So i wouldn’t say he’s a green flag, but not red either. I am sure he’ll change after they break up tho that’s why i can’t wait for all eps to air.
omg I’m so closer to dropping this, what do u mean label the things u use in my bathroom why? his comments and…
He is a red flag in my opinion too, but i love tropes like these where the ml later realises his mistakes and changes. They’ll break up and he’ll change, i can promise you that. The writer knows what he’s doing. They’ve also changed a lot of things from the novel, he was an even bigger red flag there.
Unpopular opinion and different take on the conversation between the main leads in the last episode. I kinda liked…
Really well said. I also absolutely hated when he sent her flowers as an apology, because if i was in Zhitao’s place i would prefer for him to come talk to me instead of showering me with gifts.
I want to watch but before that can somebody tell me the story and is there love triangle from any side and also…
For now there is no actual love triangle, but both main characters get jealous of other people. About the breakup, from what i understood, they’re gonna date in secret for 6 years and then breakup. So we’re gonna get a time skip twice in my opinion - the first time skip, we’ll skip the 6 years they date in secret and see how they breakup and then we’ll get one more time skip to when they meet again. I can only guess how old they are but i assume right now in episode 11 Zhitao is 23 i think and Luan Nian is around 28 maybe. So when they breakup 6 years later let’s say Luan Nian is gonna be 34 and Zhitao 29. When they meet again i assume he’s gonna be like 36 and zhitao 31.
Let’s take Jane Austen’s model as an example. It’s that classic “Pride and Prejudice” type of conflict:…
Oh my God, i was wondering what their relationship reminds me of🤩 Luan Nian’s pride is stopping him from proper communication and therefore leading to their misunderstandings, and to him saying harsh words. Zhitao’s prejudice is making her believe that they couldn’t possibly be in a real relationship because of the difference in status and that’s making her insecure about herself, her value as a partner and most importantly- their love. I absolutely cannot wait to see how this unfolds in the next episodes 🥹
