I just read Furuta Junko's wiki pedia page. I always knew that Japan's law system is horrible and unfair. I heard Japan gives death penalty quite often and easily, but those monsters got away so simply just because they were minors!!!

Junko was raped by over 100 men and teens. Sometimes, even raped by 12 men on a single day. Those motherf***ers even made her masturbate in front of them, dance naked and let her out in the winter with thin clothings. after she couldn't handle anymore and gave in to her wounds and bruises, she finally died. Yet she couldn't get the justice she deserved and even had her grave vandalized by one of those criminal's parent.

But the only thing Japan could do was to make an exploitative movie about her sufferings.
This movie may be really good and I shouldn't judge it without ever watching it. But the fact is that this is an explotative work that doesn't pay an homage to the victim who never got her justice.

I kinda hate the writer for making Junyoung the villain. I can understand why she would not want to forgive Taeyang so easily. I would feel the same way if my career was ruined because of a small accident. But i feel that i would have liked it more if she tried to start over and if they had shown how she slowly learns to forgive and move on, like they did with Taeyang. Why do they have to make one character more mean to make the other one look pitiful and help us empathise with the other one easily?
Also, from the looks of it, it looks like Junyoung and Taeyang were good friends. So, if they made it more about their friendship, it would feel more impactful:/

this drama got likable for me. it didn't get that better, but i am enjoying it and it is watchable. the leads have a bit chemistry now. and the direction got better

the direction is super awkward. the acting is okay, yet the direction somehow make it seem like it's terrible. but i can't really feel any chemistry between the leads which is my main problem. the leads don't have many meaningful or special scenes, so it's too early to criticise. and their relationship is just developing into something. also, most BLs i've watched get better in 3/4 ep. so, i am hoping this one will too

I don't know why but Yook Jung Hwan (Kim Moo Joon) looks a lot like BTS' Jin to me:/ i felt like i had to say this somewhere because in almost every scene he appears, i can't help but think that they look similar:')

Why did the ratings drop so drastically? The main story didn't even start yet, and the first two episodes were to show us their worlds to make them feel more believable, more humane and not just some characters your favourite actors are playing. The first episode didn't have much of a story and at first, i found it a bit boring too. But the 2nd episode started to build a story. The writer definitely knows what they are doing with the story and the characters. The cimenatography perfectly showcases the urban life where nothing special or exciting happens which is intentional. The music blends in with the mood the drama wants to go for and I love it<3

Maybe i am just being biased towards MLN because I loved the first 2 eps so much:') but still, it doesn't deserve 7.7. MLN at least deserves 8.2/3

The cinematography was beautiful until the very end. probably the most beautiful cinematography i've seen in any thai drama before. i found the last 4 episodes boring. but there were some moments where the writers did shine. i loved Ren and Gorya moments in the second half the most. I was still team Thyme, but I pretty much stopped liking both Thyme and Gorya in the last episode. Still not sure why.

The rain scene in episode 16 with Thyme and Gorya was so intense and sad to watch. Also, the kiss scene was beautiful<333

it's not just this drama where there is such violent behavior normalised and used for comical effect from those so-called strong fls. not that it justifies Gorya's behaviors. it was "okay" and pretty satisfying when Thyme was a bully, but now that they are supposed to be in love, it's truly disturbing. still, i do like Gorya tho. it's not her fault that the writer want to show her like those strong fls and mess up her character. I don't understand why they thought it was important because Gorya seems really strong to me.

tha plot is pretty good. but normalising sexist remarks made by characters and the toxic behavior of the ml is too frustrating. the characters were kinda well-written. i would have liked it more if they didn't make the ml a walking red flag and did something better with the fl and his relationship. the main cast was pretty good, but supporting cast was...well, watchable. there were some scenes between the ml and fl that made me feel like they have potential. but it's too boring yet fast-paced that i can't even skip an episode.

han kefei is so annoying. the story so far is fast-paced, but still, managed to feel boring. i like the fl so far for some reasons. i am hating all the main cast. but i am enjoying how they show the destruction of two relationships so realistically. except all the romanticization, it would have been a better story so far i think:")

i didn't know about that. hopefully, they show more of that in this version. considering how K-dramas are progressing and are questioning many "traditions", i think they will show more of that:")

i love how this drama actually has a male chases female first scene:") i didn't expect him to chase her with a shoe lol

not sure why they need to make a remake, but i kinda want to watch it. that drama just wasn't it for me, but i really wanna know what modern element they add in this drama:D hopefully, they don't that cheating part

i agree. thyme bullied her and other people very badly (even if it wasn't badly, bullying is still severe no matter how subtle). seeing thyme do such shitty things, it is definitely hard for gorya to see the good in him just because he is trying to change himself. and we can't expect her to do that because she ain't a mind reader who will know his good intentions when he still does pretty shitty things. when he beat that shitty trash of a boyfriend, tesla, he did have good intentions, but what he did was still wrong. also, we can't just expect her to not like ren anymore because he literally saved her from the bullies at times. and they seem to have established an emotional bond, so it is going to be hard for her to "choose" between thyme and ren. but we all know she is going to end up with thyme anyway. i am just hoping thyme doesn't mess uphis place in my heart because watching the preview, it seems like he is going to mess big time:(((

when is this going to air? it's been a year;-;

i've never hated any drama more than the k version of bof. all the characters from that drama were very annoying to me. but this one shines out honestly. even though the ml still kinda sucks, he seems like he actually changed for gorya. also, i just love Gorya. she is so beautiful and i am not (only) talking about her looks that i am attracted to. she is actually strong emotionally and knows how to protect herself. i just love her lol:))))

i am really excited to watch them together:D also, i have something for nam joo hyuk in healing dramas. he shines so much in these kind of dramas i think
