I'm sure idols can attract viewers, naturally. Anything can attract viewers. Like you said we have different tastes and reasons to watch entertainment. My point was that comments here usually hint that those idols are the only reason anyone watches this or that show, which is also quite bold statement and not a fact.

Also it does happen sometimes that people get disappointed after a few episodes or sometimes feel it gets better after a few episodes. Not every drama is a hit. It couldn't even be possible. This drama is not the best I've seen. I wish they did choose a few different approach, I wouldn't say it's bad writing though. More like I prefer other choices, different taste, different option. However, I still like this. It entertains me and I want to know what will happen. There are dramas that divide viewers. Some love them, others hate them. I still doubt people care that passionately about this drama.

Not every drama can be #1 in every polling sites. Some dramas are more popular than others. It's ok and normal not to like every drama out there. BUT it doesn't mean, everyone watches these dramas because of the actors only. That is bs and thrown out as an excuse so often.
