Wang Ya Jia and He Jian Qi are so funny together - natural bickering partners. The plot is nothing new, but the acting is good, the pacing is just right and so far I find this drama very enjoyable.
I’m not convinced by the over dramatization of certain scenes…and too much slo-mo can interrupt the flow of the story…so, while I like the main leads (Ren Min fits her character perfectly) and the changes made to the storyline (as compared to the novel), I’m not a big fan of this director’s vision.
started this one for Jing Bo Ran, but Qin Jun Jie (SML) stole the show for me - excellent acting.
LE: both ML and SML doing some great acting here (the villain also); FL’s character though…I wish the writers would’ve made her a bit smarter…her actions are so frustrating
started as a crime mistery drama, turned very quickly into a reverse harem / inner court politics kind of series with the overused amnesia trope thrown in…aside for the insane visuals, I’m not sure it has much going for it
totally agree, I kept watching with the same hope that maybe, just maybe it will get better but when at the end after all the suffering and turmoil things get on the right path and you expect this grand love story to finally fulfill its promise, she chooses to go away (just casually, for a year or two), I just threw my arms up in the air and gave up. What a waste of my time, the screenwriters need to go back to school and take some more creative writing classes.
very annoyed by the FL character in the first episodes, not funny at all, just rude and dumb. Watching this drama only for Joseph Zeng, he’s acting is excellent.
