I understand, thank you for the info - what I dislike is not the use of a voice actor but how this voice actor is speaking (and again, I’m aware it’s the director’s choice for this kind of interpretation)

very much dislike the voice acting for the ML - I’m sure it was the director who set the tone and pace, but it’s so overdone

the psychological aspect and actors performances are probably the only good things about this drama (oh, there’s also the beautiful OST).
The plot line is a total let down, some of the actions and motivations behind characters actions didn’t make any sense to me, so I ended up dropping this drama.

the OST is just as much part of the story as the script, perfectly matched with every scene - also, gorgeous opening score

remove the fantasy element and you have a pretty serious story about family, commitment, love, choices and regrets, with great acting and beautiful ost

Wang Ya Jia and He Jian Qi are so funny together - natural bickering partners. The plot is nothing new, but the acting is good, the pacing is just right and so far I find this drama very enjoyable.

same, same, I can’t figure out who’s who anymore and what the relationships are…bad editing, letting scenes like this with no explanation

I’m not convinced by the over dramatization of certain scenes…and too much slo-mo can interrupt the flow of the story…so, while I like the main leads (Ren Min fits her character perfectly) and the changes made to the storyline (as compared to the novel), I’m not a big fan of this director’s vision.

started this one for Jing Bo Ran, but Qin Jun Jie (SML) stole the show for me - excellent acting.

LE: both ML and SML doing some great acting here (the villain also); FL’s character though…I wish the writers would’ve made her a bit smarter…her actions are so frustrating

Road Home is a must watch if you like Jing Bo Ran!
