OMG I love the webtoon so much and thrilled to find out it will be adapted into live action series, plus 2 of my fav actor & actress will play the main roles. Can't wait!!
hopefully yoon ju did tell tae in who she really is since the somehow cliffhanger ending kinda make it possible that yoon ju still unable to tell tae in the truth. but fingercross that she really told him, bcs if tae in knows from others it will be very disappointing... because i need my dose of fluff and romance between yoon ju and tae in in the rest 3 episodes without the obstacle of that doctor lie thing
i've expected eul tae to be the bad bulgasal even in the past who murder including hwal's family so not really surprised there.. as both bulgasals (sang un&eul tae) past stories still undisclosed, i think past sang un may make hwal bulgasal on purpose. as from i gathered that sang un has some kind ability to curse including hwal's birth and dark hole thus both curse are somewhat related. i think sang un somehow can't kill dark hole herself even as bulgasal like how eul tae is tortured if sang un is attacked. but hwal can (with his curse, monster killing etc), though as human it will be a slim chance. that's why she deliberately kills him so that hwal will be the weapon to kill dark hole. bcs in a sense he's only a bulgasal in a shell, he's not really bulgasal in nature (it's just because he lost his soul) so that it may be the reason why even as bulgasal he can kill eul tae while having the ability of immortality so he won't lose to eul tae. and she may deliberately make him to chase her when she died the first time so that hwal knows she's not the one who kill his family and put the plan to end eul tae successful
I think the show has established that Kang Moo is kind of an idiot. So nothing he does really surprises me.30…
at first i also thought about EYR as bait by hiding her so that the spies will be busy searching her. but it showed that EYR is gonna put on the headphone as if she's trying to get some kinda recording there. so i don't think it's only for her to hide there and allow time for others to escape..
He is not. He is doing all this so their parties candidate will win.And since he helped all of this, hopefully…
it actually makes sense politically since he's gathering favors especially from potential president candidate, who must have a high position in the party with highly impactful voice in recommendation for next presidential election nomination. so he will have a better standing in the party and higher chance to be nominated as president next if he can pull it off
those short moments when ISH heaved a sigh of relief after finding EYR first plus the knocking code thing, okay it just melted my heart bcs finally!! some fluff bit that can actually make the sense of the rest of their romantic story. but LKM just had to ruin it...
LKM planned to rescue the hostages while he didn't even locked KCY properly. i mean she's a spy, although he may not know her high rank but logically she must've been through training to survive that kinda thing so it was kinda stupid move (sorry) and if they actually got out, did he really think ANSP won't do them harm? since the one in charge there is colluding with the enemy too and he knew it. i mean, can't he see that they don't have anyone to rely one but themselves? hostages and spies included. i thought when he's told to get back to the dorm and knowing the election scheme, he'd be smarter.. but nope. i think he's eager to get out partially since his "fiancee" is captured, sure he wants to go by the book and save them all lalala but i still think the main reason is JHN i'm also wondering why he sent EYR to that audio room bcs i'm clueless as to what they can get from the room that basically filled with girl talks, maybe he wanted a proof of the spies convo with KCY? if it is, i don't really see the advantage for their standing
np: i like how the recent episodes kept showing how all the characters, despite their ideals or life histories, they're all just human at the end. like when REC asked GHR to sing and get choked up, or JGC who was temperamental dude but get soft with KBO after hearing her life story (and seems romance may be blossom there haha). i think this will be important part for them to survive this hostage scheme at the end to finally survive together
well, it's just an okay drama. the romance plot of the main leads is thoroughly confusing and frustrating till the end, but i guess it is on brand with the title... overall it is kinda disappointing thus all the negative reviews. although i personally think the supporting plots actually flow alright such as 2nd couple's characters and plot has developed well despite me not liking them at first episodes.
maybe if this drama is about fashion business rather than romance melodrama, it will be much better as i actually quite like it whenever it talks deeper about the fashion industry and its struggle
there was definitely something in that look at the end, i wonder what is going on there. And true! i was thinking…
agreed! even tae il was the one whose impatient and just want to save his own a*s by suddenly ordering to kill the spies, then when it backfired as his little mistress was threaten he also can't think level-headed. i mean he probably just a nobody without backing from the father of his wife he cheated on..
ok, will they release those acoustic songs played by tae in?? coz jun's voice sounds beautiful singing those songs. although i really like the band version of "let me be your knight" ost that's been released, his piano solo in ep 4 just gave different feels to me like it's warmer, sorrowful, and more enchanting. and now that guitar's serenade song?? they seriously need to release them pleasee!!
Wow I was just wondering if Kang Cheong Ya is really NK spy as her motives (with being that Nam's mistress and all) only fit when she's a NK spy and she really is! A well-known and honored one too! Also, did anyone else see the way she looked at Soo Ho at the very glimpse at the end of bonus part?? Why does she look at him that way? What's their story?! Especially since the other comrades can't even recognize her, but Soo Ho can. Ok, this part alone really piqued my curiosity and made my dying for the next episodes. Next about Young Ro's brother being dead, I do think there is a big chance he's not actually dead. Sure he may be dying but he might be able to be resurrected. And it's all just be a part of the mind game for that damn alliance for election. Although, if he's really dead, objectively speaking, I think Young Ro's dad also play a bit part in killing his brother since he chose to join this exhausting play to gain power for election while his kids unfortunately caught in haywire in the end, even though Soo Ho does play a part in the failure of the Han's abduction mission in general. Anyway, I just beg that stepmom needs to be gone at the end cause that b*tch (hehe sorry, I just really hate her) is just power hungry too. As other viewers of this series argue about the relationship of our sweet main couple as how this two lovebirds will end up, how can she still like him despite all this tragedy or how will he conceal his longing so that he can keep his ideal, I do desperately wondering how it goes in the future. But I still can't really put a point to how it will resolve since there's a lot of probability it can end up with in the future. I personally like the fact that I can't predict the future of the plot since it means that this series can really not only be a cliche drama that we've seen many times before. But on one side it does make me dreading to wait a week for next 2 episodes!! (and makes me rambling this much too haha)
ok, this is a nice and easy movie to watch, plus the amazing line-up! i'm 100% satisfied since i just need to sit, watch, and enjoy. my personal favorite has to be lee dong wook's part since it's extremely cute, although all of each character's story plot are totally enjoyable and coming along nicely altogether.. love it!!
It had a promising beginning (also props to the child actors that really brought out the early part of the drama!) and I was expectant to know that it would be 20 episodes. But, the draggy plot at second half of the series quiet disappoints me. It is overall a good drama though and it has fine OSTs, especially Lyn's OST that I can't help singing along with every time it came out (though can't reach those high notes! haha) and her voice was just always perfect for historical dramas.
