In my opinion, Seol Woo Hyeol deceptively reminds me of Woo Ma Wang, because the one and that one fed the same and smelled blood and behaved in a very similar behaviour. Although they are not vampires, in my opinion they still have similar characteristics to themselves.
- Royal ML (princes in both but in DQ he becomes the emperor)
- Both MLs are bratty and clingy (and kinda unhinged)
- Fearless and badass FLs that can kick ass (general in DQ, assassin in DLX)
- Kingmaker FL
- MLs that are eagerly submissive for the FLs
- FL is ML's mentor
- Strong ML x Stronger FL
- Cold FL x Warm ML
- "Us against the world" dynamic for the leads
- Revenge and fight for the throne

-Both focus on the intense pressure of the Chinese high school system and the struggle to succeed in a competitive environment.
- Each story centers on "broken" characters—whether students or teachers—finding a way to move past previous failures and trauma.
-Both dramas feature complex parent-child relationships, often involving academic expectations, parental absence, or reliability issues.
-Both highlight a guiding figure (a teacher or a supportive community member) who helps the protagonist navigate their personal and academic crises.
-They share a grounded, "slice-of-life" style that avoids over-the-top tropes in favor of authentic emotional growth and perseverance.
YOU WOULD REALLY LOVE IT!!!!

- knockout is so similar to pitbabe, just with fighting instead of racing
- both of them made me want to binge watch

Both are based on a manipulative (and mentally ill) guy entering a relationship for an alternate purposes but falling in love/obsessing over the guy he has been manipulating. What I love about both of these dark romances is the redemtion arc and happy ending.
Both start out as a fake relationship that lead to both boys developing feelings for each other. While I do like Cause Your My Boy better, Love Sick has a more believable reason to start the fake relationship.
Best drama of 2026. Highly recommended. If you love husband wife romance drama then it's a masterpiece. Beautiful plot. Cast acting chemistry. Zhang ling he ?
Virtual reality romance included inboth
Here too the female is given VR glasses that allows her to enter a IT powered world which conatibs the Love boy , a group of four men .there are lots of twists and turns . When bod first came i was reminded of this drama which came i 2021. It has all fluff and light hearted components along with mysteries. You should not Miss Out on this one , do give it a try

Both are 50-episode family dramas that dive into the complexities of relationships, generational conflicts, and everyday life within a family setting. What really stands out, though, are the couples—each pairing brings its own charm, from soft and heart-fluttering moments to playful, lighthearted interactions that balance out the heavier family themes.
Both Night Traveler and Whale Star: The Gyeongseong Mermaid tell stories about love that is difficult or impossible because of external circumstances. In Night Traveler, the barrier is time travel, while in Whale Star, it is the harsh reality of historical conflict during the Japanese colonial era.
Both focus on emotional, slow-burn romances where characters must make sacrifices, often choosing between love and something greater, such as duty or survival. They also emphasize quiet, introspective characters and explore deeper themes beyond romance, including identity, history, and personal struggle.
Overall, the two stories are similar because they portray tragic, meaningful love shaped by forces beyond the characters’ control.

The same slice of life, friendships, and found family. The story centers around the friend group and characters growing up together. Although Our Generation the kids were younger in the beginning, there are many similarities.
