Both are Republican Era mini dramas in which the leads grew up in a (fake) sibling relationship. Both FLs are a bit naïve, younger, and willful, MLs are in some powerful but outside the law job (assassin vs. warlord). Both have a third wheel SML who the FL becomes close to.

You'll understand why I recommended this drama after watching Penthouse, haha! Interestingly, some of the same cast members from Penthouse are also in this drama... And, of course, our charming villain, Joo Dan Tae (played by Uhm Ki Joon), is as sinister as ever! Just watch it and thank me later. The similarities between the characters are uncanny, haha!
