Both films chronicle the journeys of individuals trying to survive in countries without legal status. In both, the leads are scraping by on the very fringe of society where theft, scamming, poverty and violence are common to life. Both dramas show us characters who are struggling against the governments' unreasonable restraints on illegal aliens to earn money just to survive, as they also strive to work through the system to achieve legitimacy.

A similar story of a traditional sports club struggling to get new members to join the team. In Asahinagu the female lead joins the club hoping to be as strong as the senior club member that she admires. While Shiko Funjatta is about Sumo dominated by males, Asahinagu is about Naginata dominated by females.

A similar tale of a male lead who is lost in life until he met a driven female lead at the most unpopular sports club at the brink of closure, where he encounters various individuals with their own baggage of life trying to find a place they can call home. While Shiko Funjatta is about Sumo, Mirai e no 10 Count is about boxing.

Not that similar dramas but I feel like if you enjoyed Yu Meng Long's "emotionless" kind of acting, you'll like both of these dramas.
Few more similarities:
- ML played by the same actor
- calm ML who holds a higher status and is physically weak (a bit downplayed in The Love Lasts Two Minds)
- FL knows martial arts

Similarities:

1. Noona romance where ML loved FL since childhood, but she marries someone else.
2. ML and FL reconnect as adults after FL has divorced, friends to lovers.
3. Flashbacks that show how the relationship developed in the past.
4. Multiple ensemble couples at different stages with their own stories.
5. Low key, mostly realistic slice of life problems and plot development.

Extremely similar in tone, storytelling and production too. The major differences are in LIS? FL is a CEO while ML is low on the career ladder, the age gap is larger (FL 35, ML 27) and SML in the triangle is FL's ex-husband. The spice level in Tdrama is also higher than Kdrama.

The push pull between the leads reminds me of this drama. Similar work set up where the leads fall in love.
Sense of humor is too good!
