Both are fantasy/historical dramas with the same actors as the ML and one of the SMLs. Both have a very light tone with a lot of humor and don't take themselves seriously.
Both are about food and have a warm, healing feel.

both shows produced by same PD, same company, with the same theme. the content are different but both shows girls having fun in south korean countryside.
Both dramas relate to crimes investigation by detective male leads. They are both in the same dynasty as well.
Both are Japanese movies set in the countryside and centered around a specific food. Both have a healing and soothing vibe.
These dramas aren't necessarily similar, but I do think those who enjoy DBS will enjoy Camellia blooms too. There's the dorky male lead romance paired with thriller just like in DBS.
Although Do Bong Soon is definitely the better drama IMO, I think Abyss would be enjoyable if you really liked the romance paired with thriller combo in Do Bong Soon. There is also the same female lead (Park Bo Young) as a plus.
