Different in tone but similar in characters and aesthetics. ML is a god like being, FL a human, and their relationship grows slowly. Also in the end, ML disappears, then returns as a human.
While very different in tone, there are similarities in characters. The SML is a gentle scholar and the ML initially appears as a villain, distrusted by the FL. Events occur that the FL is not expecting which cause her to fall for the ML and experience hardship.
Similar plot ML is grown up with FL by freeloading at her house and later grown up with feelings toward her.
Haven't watched Sweet Prison but the stories are pretty similar the ML knew FL from past..
ML searches for the person who killed his family member.

Both are bubbly, fast paced, and fun Japanese BLs with endearing characters and upbeat, often hilarious moments. Both have a very similar tone an school setting.
Same actor as the ML. In both he is extremely devoted to the FL and will do anything for her. Similar tone and setting. Both are very interesting dramas that don't lose their pacing in the second half.
Can't save the patient's life" is not a strange sentence for Tin, an emergency medicine home doctor who has had to get used to this kind of situation and outcome. But what will happen when he is given a second, third and countless more chances to help a young student to survive? Is saving this young patient's life the only way to end the Triage time loop?

Set in the 90s, the ost, background scores, and color grading aptly bring out the elements of nostalgia. Amazing acting and story. Both dramas have captured relationships with parents, siblings, neighbors, friends, or partners in a very realistic and raw form. They are definitely my top comfort dramas that feel like a warm hug, something I'd go to when feeling down.
ML starts out gentle and kind, then his family is stolen from him, he is presumed dead, and his personality shifts into revenge and hatred for those responsible. He returns and reunites with FL who helps him heal/reunite with what's left of his family. The tones are similar and both have happy endings despite being darker stories.
The main characters have suffered trauma and are emotionally and physically damaged. ML doesn't value his own life much and comes across as a tough character at first but later has the softest heart toward the FL. Hopeful ending, despite all the suffering. Also similar tones and city night scenes.
Tawan lives with Yuanjai, her aunt-in-law, and her daughter Yadfa as servants. Yhod, her uncle once made a promise to his friend Trong to arrange a marriage between their children. Yadfa refuses it, thinking that Tomorn, Trong's son, is a rustic and poor guy, who is also in a relationship with Bunlaeng. They don't make any money, just spend Yuanjai's money. One day, Tomorn gives his hand to pay a debt for Yuanjai, so she allows Tawan to marry him as Yadfa. At Tomorn's house, she's always bullied by Sawai, his mother, Gingkaew, the nanny of his sister and Sopit, his friend who has a crush on him
The main characters have deep emotional wounds and trauma and start to heal with each other's help. There's also a scene where ML clings to/hugs FL that reminds me so much of a similar scene in the other drama. Both feature happy endings after much suffering and heartbreak.
